1 October-November 2021 YUGEN SUMMIT 2021 A step towards being tomorrow’s decision makers YUGEN, the Annual Intra-School Summit was held on 29th and 30th October, 2021. It was one of the first offline Model UN Conference held in Hyderabad. Mr. Krishna Bhaskar, IAS, Industries Director, Telangana Government was the Chief Guest for the event. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of our chairman Shri.S.V. Rao, DDMS P.Obul Reddy Educational Academy. The journey helped the participants in developing confidence, building stronger understanding of global issues and also gave them an opportunity to make new friends. CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS 2021 Making a school a fun place too! The school campus was festooned with exchange of greetings and good wishes among the overwhelmed students who enthusiastically awaited the events to unfold. Principal, Ms. Latha Shankar extended her warm greetings to all the children. There was an array of cultural display by the teachers that consisted of dance performances, skit, rendition of songs and a fashion show. The fashion show was a concept designed by our Principal on the theme ‘Navarasas’. Students expressed their gratitude and happiness for the visual treat which came as a relief from the year-long online routine. Pre-Primary Celebrating the innocence and purity of a child The early years of a child’s life are the most important and we continue to strive towards holistic development of the child through learning experiences in both the school and the community. The kids attended an online meet on safety rules and procedures. Special assemblies were conducted along with various activities in the class to bring out the talents of these little ones and pass quality information to grow into creative minds.

2 Talent wins games, Teamwork wins championships School Quality Circle Desire to solve than to prove The first ever Student Quality Circle of the school won Gold at the Chapter Convention on Quality Circle, organised by Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Hyderabad Chapter. Earlier last year the teacher team had won at two levels and even qualified to participate in the International Convention. The student team, which called itself ‘The Crusading Comrades’ presented a case study on the topic ‘Mental and Emotional well-being at stake during the pandemic’ at the convention held virtually. The team followed the 12-step methodology vis-à-vis, identifying problems, selecting solutions, foreseeing probable resistance, trial implementation of solutions, regular implementation of solutions and finally following up and reviewing. The result of the case study was a transformation in approach not just of the students but also of the teachers. The team also mentioned that as the case progressed, they found themselves more and more involved in finding solutions. “We have now made this a habit and everything seems to be in place”, say the members. The team was awarded certificates for its effort in a felicitation ceremony graced by Principal Ms. Latha Shankar.
