3rd February, 2023 DETAILS: IEEE Student Branch of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology organized Data Analytics event on the 3rd of February, 2023. The main aim was to make students acquainted with more knowledge about Data Analytics and its future scope. PARTICIPANTS: Second, Third, and Final Year students of the college. OBJECTIVES: ● Learn about Data Analytics, the future of Info-Tech Business. ● To make students understand about the upper hand of Data Analytics, Data Analysis, their role of importance for today and forthcoming future. FACULTY INVOLVED: Mr. Deepak S. Shete - Faculty In-charge IEEE, E&TC, Mrs. Aradhana Manekar - Faculty In-charge IEEE, E&TC. EVENT DESCRIPTION: A Technical Webinar on Data Analytics was organized by IEEE-TCET on 3rd February 2023 for the students of SE, TE, and BE of the college. The platform used for this session was Zoom Conferencing. The speaker for this session was Ms. Deeksha Anand. The event started at 3:30 pm, all the students joined and Ms. Shriya Gupta commenced the session with an opening speech introducing the guest speaker for the day Ms. Deeksha Anand, a Data Analytics Manager of ION and the founder of her own venture OneStopData, a Data Driven company. The speaker began the session by introducing herself, where she covered several points like how her journey started, how she chose this as her profession, how expanded her teaching is in this field as an educator. Following which she began explaining on the topic for the day, in detailed manner with her interactive presentation. Through her engaging presentation, she familiarized the students with the importance of data, the types of data analytics surfacing around the globe and the different career roles existing in the race of this Info-Tech. The next area she emphasised was the market dominance, acquainting with this, she enlightened the students by guiding them the path to design their skills. Once the presentation drew to a close, the table was opened for questions from the participants, wherein huge number of queries raised and solution to each question was furnished by the speaker prudently. To finally conclude the session, Mr. Ishan Kanadia gave the vote of thanks, in which he expressed, on behalf of IEEE-TCET and the students, gratitude to our guest speaker Ms. Deeksha Anand for delivering such an informative webinar. The students then filled out a feedback form as well, which seemed to have a highly positive review for the session.
