Week 4 Title: Woman Kicked Out of McDonald’s For Bringing Her Pet Kangaroo to Lunch Author: Joanna Fantozzi Source: https://www.thedailymeal.com/news/eat/woman-kicked-out-mcdonald-s-bringing-her-pet-kangaroo-lunch/020615 Summary A woman in the U.S. state of Wisconsin was asked to leave a McDonald's because she was attempting to patronize the restaurant accompanied by her pet kangaroo. A customer at the restaurant called the police, who then asked the woman to leave. The woman, who was a cancer patient, told police that the kangaroo was a \"service animal\" to help her deal with the emotional distress of her illness, and showed police a doctor's note as proof. The police officer said the woman, who lives on a farm with several other exotic animals, was upset at first, but then agreed to leave the eatery. My reaction/reflection: In my opinion, People do notice that bringing pets into a place that serves food is prohibited by health departments. Kangaroos are very dangerous animals and should never stand near a kangaroo because they'll knock you out in one punch. They have really strong leg muscles too. Page 2 of 3
