EVALUATION ESSAY “Online Distance Learning Should Continue Even After The Pandemic” Of all three topics that had been debated about, I am very interested with the topic “Online Distance Learning should continue even after the pandemic”. I would have to go with that topic since it is one of the vital and current topics as of today’s happenings. I am in favor of the opposing team since I also disagree with the idea. Out of all members of the negative side, debater Jan Eliz Villareal was the one who won over my interest. With that said, I have chosen her to be the subject of my evaluation. Her overall performance in the debate amazed me. She was very calm and confident in delivering and expressing her thoughts, in which she shows in her tone of voice. Her statements were strong and well-expounded, showing no act of hesitation. She shows alertness and preparedness when it is her time to speak and defend their side. I also noticed that she is quick and sharp as she contradicts with the speakers of the affirmative side before her. This is what makes her the best debater out of all of them. She is very intelligent and well- mannered through the debate, showing no point of weakness in defending her side, at all. I like how she handle the arguments in a way that she is not panicking or stressing over it. Also, on how she forms her words to say and perfectly executes it for the other team to rebut. For me, she is a very outstanding debater for her excellent play throughout the debate.
