Summer ReadingReaders of all ages can discovernew books and enjoy a variety ofprograms by participating in theannual summer reading program.This year’s themes are “Every Herohas a Story” for kids, “Unmasked”for teens, and “Escape the Ordi-nary” for adults.Beginning June 1 and continuing Sponsorsthrough the summer, participantscan register online or at the library.Join in the games and activities atthe Kick-Off Events at each library.Discover programming for chil-dren, teens and adults happeningthroughout the summer.The Summer Reading Program K&S Music Centerencourages children, from birththrough high school, to read and Larry’s Pizza & Subslearn throughout the summer.Children and teens set their own Pennsylvania Council on the Artsreading goals, either the number Community Partnerships RC&Dof books or number of minutesspent reading. Young children Swineford National Bankmay participate by having adultsread to them. When their goal is Tuxes -N- Tunesachieved, readers can collect aprize.
