APRIL 2021 FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN The new Academic year 2021 - 2022 commenced on 11th April 2021. The teachers were all set to welcome the new batch of virtual learn- ers. The junior kindergarten students did a small scribbling activity on their first day of school whereas the senior kindergarten drew beau- tiful pictures.
RED DAY THE KG 1 students and teachers dressed up in red on 13th April as a part of the Red day celebrations. They were introduced to the colour red with various activities.
EARTH DAY Kinderwise celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2021. The celebrations took place in the respective virtual classrooms. It started with the tiny tots singing the song, \"The Earth is my home\", which emphasizes on protecting the Earth. The kids were made aware on how to respect and care for animal and plant life, natural resources and their habitats with the help of a presentation. There was a small activity in which the children did a craft using old newspapers, magazines and supermarket flyers. They reused these items to do their craft. This emphasized the meaning of the 3 R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
SALT TRAY ACTIVITY Salt tray is a fun way for our Junior Kindergarten students to prac- tice their early-writing skills. It engages the senses, and is an excit- ing way for them to learn how to write letters, numbers and even spell their name.
MAY 2021 EID UL FITR Eid Ul Fitr - The festival of breaking the fast, was celebrated by the children of Kinderwise in their respective classes. The teachers explained the significance of the holy month of Rama- dan and made the children aware of the importance of giving. Each class also did a craft and drawing activity as a part of the Eid Celebrations. The children had fun drawing, cutting and pasting their little masterpieces.
GOLDILOCKS AND THE 3 BEARS Our KG1 students had a blast learning about sizes, by doing an ac- tivity based on the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. They used their thumb finger, index finger and little finger, dipped it in paint and made impressions on paper and then proceeded to make drawings of Papa bear, Mama bear and Baby bear.
MOTHER’S DAY Mother's day is celebration of honoring the mother of the family. Kinderwise celebrated mother's day on 6th May. Our little ones made greeting cards with great love for their moms. At the end of the class the children presented the cards to their mom. It was heartwarming to watch the love and affection they showed toward their moms.

JUNE 2021 BUDDING ENGINEERS Imagination, creativity and engineering came alive during the bud- ding engineers activity week. The junior kindergarteners demonstrated their talent by making amazing models with different types of material available in their homes.
FATHER’S DAY
LEMONADE DAY What better way to relax than having a refreshing glass of lemonade. That is exactly what our KG1 students did on lemonade day. They made their own lemonade and then enjoyed themselves by sip- ping it and having some snacks along with it.
MAKING ROBOT Make a robot To make a robot requires a lot of imagination and creativity. Our senior kindergarten students showcased their amazing talents by making different types of robots that we never could have dreamed of. It was indeed a memorable week.

SUMMER ART Summer is just around the corner and our little buzzing bees are all set to go on their summer break. With all this excitement in the air, we did a little summer themed art activity for our Kindergarten students. Students drew popsicle sticks and umbrellas, and coloured them in bright and beautiful colours. It was indeed a fun filled activity.
VIRTUAL TOUR COLLAGE Children love going on tours and seeing new things. Since we could not take the kids to the zoo this year, we decided to bring the zoo to them. Kinderwise conducted a virtual tour of the Mysore Zoo in the month of June for the students. The kids were really excited to see different kinds of birds and ani- mals. It was very informative and educational.
WALKING WATER EXPERIMENT Fun with Science Did you know water can walk? Ms Isma Anwar demonstrated this with an experiment titled 'Walking Water' for the Kindergarten science week. The children learnt about capillary action and colour mixing by per- forming this experiment.
