About the Trainers MrChinCheeKaiisanentrepreneur,educatorandengineer. Withthelogicmindset of an engineer, passion of an educator and spirit of an entrepreneur, Mr Chin has more than 10 years teaching experience with Nanyang Technological University (NTU)’s Nanyang Business School (NBS) and Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre (NTC). Mr Chin holds MBAs from Nanyang Technological University and Waseda University, and a Master of Science in Scientific Computing from Stanford University. Dr Edward Yapp is a Scientist at SIMTech. He has experience in mentoring and teaching, having even been invited to give lectures at Nanyang Technological University. His interest lies in the development of artificial intelligence techniques and their application to manufacturing. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and was awarded the Gates Cambridge Scholarship from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr Joel Tay is a Scientist from SIMTech with technical knowledge in logistics management and decision-making under uncertainty. He is an ACTA-certified trainer. Dr Tay holds a PhD in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a MA(Cantab) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
