About the Trainers Dr Zhou Junhong is a Principal Research Engineer with SIMTech and also the OEE Initiative Lead for SIMTech’s MPTC center. She received her PhD in mechanical and aerospace from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has over 20 years of research and industrial experience in factory automation, operation excellence, artificial intelligence, equipment condition monitoring, and intelligent condition-based maintenance. Mr Huang Huat Hin is a Consultant with SIMTech MCT-Digitalization. He has more than 20 years of industrial experience in product development for mass production, automated equipment and process design for operational excellence. He works with participants on productivity improvement. Ms Wang Yu is a Senior Engineer with SIMTech. She has more than 5 years’ expert knowledge in software programming. She will teach about OEE monitoring system implementation. Mr Chua Yong Quan is an Engineer with SIMTech with more than 5 years’ industrial experience in machine connectivity, PLC and Human machine interface programming. Course Outline Skills Course Reference Number: CRS-N-0051804 (Total: 16 training hours) This programme consists of 4 OEE Fundamentals Learning Units that are sequenced-based to increase the participants’ level of understanding of the fundamentals and skills so as to improve their productivity. Learning Introduction to Unit 1 OEE Concepts with Model Factory Setup Business owners often show a smile of delight when they see metrics that confirmed their hunch Learning OEE of hidden capacity despite the machines being operated over full planned hours. Measuring by Unit 2 Fundamentals quantities delivered on time is not quite enough. A holistic measurement of effective utilization and Calculation is needed. Learning (Hands-on Practise) Unit 3 Data Collection About the Programme Learning with HMI & This intensive two-day hands-on course provides participants with the fundamentals in applying Unit 4 Analysis and OEE to improve machine productivity. This course is specifically developed for local industry Reporting with needs and taught by industry practitioners in the field. It includes latest knowledge on OEE in Industry 4.0. Case studies are used to highlight the applications in industry. OEEMS (Hands-on Practise) Who Should Attend Productivity The course is suitable for those who are currently employed or wish to be employed in the Improvement manufacturing related fields. Techniques and Case Studies A typical Candidate Profile could be: • Operation Managers • Production Engineers • Quality Control Managers/Engineers • Production Supervisors/Operators Course Fee and Funding • The nett course fee for all Singaporeans and SPRs aged 21 years old and above is S$480 (before GST). • Employees fully sponsored by SMEs can claim an additional 20% of the full course fee with the Enhanced Training Support for SMEs Funding scheme, subject to approval by SSG. • Singaporeans aged 40 years and above can claim an additional 20% of the full course fee with the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES). • Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit which can be used to offset course fees (for self-sponsored registrations only). • The full course fee before funding is S$1,600 (before GST).
