OPEN MIC A picture is always worth a thousand words but what a person puts into an event to make it successful isn't visible to our eye. The idea of conducting an open mic was an exciting one, often considered as chill space in AIESEC but was more than that. It was the process of giving meaning to the organization and stakeholders involved, i.e., AIESEC, Awaaz Studio, and most importantly, artists. It was very important that I could provide a learning experience to the team formed from the department and Fdreolmivegreivdinvgatluhee tidoeoauropf aarctnoerprso, raantde pspaartciceipwaonrtths.y shape to pitching it to the partner, \" 'Awaaz Studio', and getting it on board for execution I learned a lot. Teams were formed, meetings were conducted, targets were being set, reviewing and recreating were somehow teaching me how to thrive in corporate partnerships and maintain those relationships. However, the event could not have been what it was without the support of my team. Friendships were formed while overcoming new challenges. -Gaurangi Jhala, Event Head AIESEC in Jaipur THE REALM | 53

TEAM BEHIND THE MAGAZINE Working on a Magazine and leading a team were both new and exciting experiences for me. Having to lead a team used to fear me to the core, I used to get shivers when it came to leading a bunch of people and guiding them through a process. I still remember the day when I had to select 3 out of 19 people to be a part of my team on the basis of that 20-minute interview, I was petrified and I remember cribbing in front of Chitransh and Kratika about how can someone make such an important decision this early. But eventually, I came to a decision and I am grateful to have Pallavi, Tisha, and Shrey. I guess this was the best decision I made in my term, the way they backed each other up when any one of them wasn't available made it clear that I couldn't have had a better set of people to work with. We bonded as we worked and learned so much about each other. I won't say there weren't any difficult times in these 45 days, there were times when we didn't feel like doing anything when we were left with no motivation whatsoever and we started procrastinating. But being a part of this team, I learned the power of unity. I saw them covering up for each other when it came to doing so. I have seen them stuck in difficult situations but still not losing hope. So, here is our team with the intent of setting a milestone by making the first-ever magazine in the history of AIESEC in Jaipur. We couldn't be happier and excited to present The Realm 2021.1.
