Charles Babbage Charles Babbage invented the computer (interesting fact: it was actually called the Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer aka ENIAC) between 1833 and 1871 he worked over 40 years over it. But it paid off didn't it? I mean, look what we're doing now? working on a computer, making PPT's in the computer, even attending school on a computer!
