The Deaf Awareness Course is produced by Sign Solutions and can be purchased as a individual licence or you can buy an unlimited licence for organisations who want to host the course on their own eLearning platform. 1

The course is split into 3 modules which includes BSL videos, with voice and subtitles to get you started. The videos can be watched as many times as needed, to help you retain what you have learned. 2

Information is designed to be easy to digest, with short but informative videos, giving you facts about deafness, communication and deaf people. 3

The BSL alphabet videos have been filmed from multiple angles, to provide learners with a broader perspective, enabling them to sign more effectively. 4

The BSL glossary also include graphics depicting the correct handshapes to use, in addition to the multi- view videos. 5

The course tests your knowledge using a range of simple quizzes, which can be repeated to increase your score. Once all the quizzes have been successfully completed, you can download your certificate of completion as evidence of your learning. 6

There is a BSL fingerspelling chart available to download so you can continue learning offline. 7
