Fire and Emergency Evacuation Procedures 1. If the fire alarm sounds continuously for more than 5 seconds, this should be regarded as a genuine fire emergency 2. If you discover a fire leave the fire area and close the door 3. Activate the nearest alarm (located in ground floor reception, agency booking office, first floor landing area) 4. Tackle the fire only if it poses no threat to your personal safety - Fire extinguishers are at ground floor reception, ground floor meeting room, agency booking office, first floor landing, Server room 5. If the fire cannot be tackled, immediately evacuate the building via the nearest exit which are clearly indicated by the green signs: 6. Go to the designated assembly point at the front car park entrance and report to the fire warden, Beth Wilmott (or Kim Dobbs/Charlotte Boyce in Beth’s absence) who will perform a roll call 7. From the nearest phone in the safe area, call 999 8. Await emergency response and direct them to the scene V0.1 17/09/21

9. If you suspect that someone is missing or trapped, inform the emergency services 10. Never re-enter the building to save your personal belongings V0.1 17/09/21
