Please note that all clinical appointments are provided through our Video Consultation Platform, and Video BSL interpreting can be booked for all virtual patient appointments.

What to do in an emergency? BSL interpreters are available on-demand via the StarLeaf app using NHS Trust devices. Follow the guide on the next page for how to do this. Enable Deaf patients to access healthcare Connect to a BSL interpreter with Sign Solutions, providers of InterpretersLive! Sign Solutions works with many NHS Trusts across England to ensure Deaf patients who use British Sign Language can communicate to easily access health services at any NHS Trust using our services. If you need a BSL interpreter urgently, you can use the Starleaf app on-demand service (step 5 below). If you need a BSL interpreter for a pre-booked virtual clinic appointment, contact Sign Solutions (step 6 below) and our team will book the appropriate service, ensuring an interpreter is present during the virtual clinic session. Step 1 Step 2 Download the StarLeaf app on your Register with your work email address. phone or tablet via your App Store. Check your email for a 6-digit confirmation code. Step 4 - Making a test call In StarLeaf, click on the 'Call' tab and dial: [email protected] If the call is successful, you are ready to use this service.
