“ Good at Speaking with PESA “ History Teaching speaking English in Krathiamwittaya school always meet the problem of student’s basic not as the standard because they don’t open their heart to learn English. They think only speak their native language so it’s very hard to teach because the students don’t interested in and don’t want to study English since they are in the primary level..

As the nature of the language The First Step is very important, but in level 3 – 4 it’s hard to teach since the first step and hard to teach the students to open their heart to speaking English so I use my best practice “ Good at Speaking with PESA ” for making good attitude of studying speaking English , and the important purpose that the students can bring the knowledge to use in everyday life. I choose Mattayom 1, 5 and 6 semester 1 since 2011 - 2012 to use this media.

Purpose 1. Students learn speaking English with several methods and medias. 2. Students can improve their English skills, use English as the way to get the knowledge inside and outside the classroom, including to have a good attitude in studying English. 3. Develop student’s abilities to join the English competition.

Process Development 1. Plan : Think and plan the activities. Assign the pattern, method, activities and produce the media as the plan. 2. Do : Progress the activities as follow ; 1) Produce media named “ Pattern English Speaking for All ” (PESA) 2) Collect the pattern of English Speaking from website both inside and outside country in the form of documents and audio files.

3) Design and make learning pattern for student to practice both at school and at home. Create with the colorful and use easy sentences to attract the students. 4) Bring PESA to use with the student by this way; - Choose the pattern to match with the student’s abilities. For M.1 choose pronouncing letter, M.5 and M.6 choose tongue twisters after that practice the higher. - Student choose which one they would like to practice (After choose the pattern for them) - Teacher read the instruction or explain how to use PESA. Maybe give the original sound listening after that the students make understand by themselves. If they don’t clear the teacher have to help

- Students practice PESA in the classroom first then bring it to practice at home. Using the way of practicing again and again until the students are influent in speaking. When they have more confident, practice more by working in pair and the partner evaluate finally practice with the teacher. - Make the rubric score for evaluating the students while use PESA and the student’s speaking development. 3. Check : Evaluate PESA using of the students by the teacher, friends and themselves. 4. Action : Conclude and evaluate the PESA by evaluation form and use the result to develop PESA for more effectiveness.

Results 1. Students practice speaking English with several media. 2. Student’s satisfactions for learning English with PESA average 90% 3. Student can use English as the resource of learning both inside and outside the classroom . 4. Manage learning with PESA continuously development, students can speak English better than at the first time. (Compare between before and after they studying) 5. Learning speaking English with PESA effect to students have good attitude in studying English. 6. Learning speaking English with PESA effect to students have a higher grade.

How this activities be success  Supporting from the administration of education, teachers and students in school.  For best succeed should use PESA at least 2 semesters.  It appropriate for teacher to use in teaching students in any level but the technique will change as the level. It’s good for making good attitude for student’s speaking. Teachers can use PESA with Mattayom students who have English talents to develop their abilities to English competitions.

Lesson Learned  It is an innovation which creates by self.  It is an innovation which from attention and preservation of the teacher; using not too many budgets.  It is an innovation which can use with students and get good effect.  It is an innovation which supports students to be good at English speaking.  It is an innovation which concern with student’s need.  It is an innovation follows the Ministry of Education  We can develop into Animation or CAI for speaking teaching
