ด้ำนครอบครัว ปัจจุบนั สมรสกบั นายโฆษิต ดีสม ซ่ึงเป็นขา้ ราชการครู ตาแหน่งอาจารยใ์ หญ่โรงเรียนบา้ นดงมนั ต.คอโค อ.เมือง จ.สุรินทร์ มีบุตรดว้ ยกนั 2 คน คือ เดก็ หญิง พิมพว์ ลี ดีสม และเดก็ ชายมฆวี ดีสม ชีวิตการทางานในวงกนั ตรึมของน้าผ้งึ เร่ิมต้งั แต่ปี พ.ศ. 2527 ผา่ นความสาเร็จและความลม้ เหลวมาหลายคร้ัง จนกระทง่ั ปี พ.ศ. 2530 เดือนพฤศจิกายนไดย้ า้ ยเขา้ มาอยทู่ ี่ศูนยว์ ฒั นธรรมหมู่บา้ นดงมนั ซ่ึงในจงั หวะน้นั ตรงกบั เทศกาลงานชา้ งของจงั หวดั สุรินทร์พอดี การยา้ ยเขา้ มาคร้ังน้ีถือเป็นการเขา้ สู่วงการอยา่ งเตม็ ตวั ได้ ตระเวนไปแสดงที่ต่างๆ แทบทุกจงั หวดั นบั ต้งั แต่ปี 2530-2533 มีการแสดงเกือบพนั คร้ัง วงกนั ตรึมบา้ นดงมนั ไดพ้ ฒั นาต่อมาเร่ือยๆ ท้งั ดา้ นการแสดงและการ แต่งกาย และในปี พ.ศ. 2535 ไดท้ าการบนั ทึกเทปชุดแรกกบั บริษทั ไพโรจน์ซาวดท์ ี่ อ.ปราสาท จ.สุรินทร์ มีชื่อชุดวา่ \"มรดกกนั ตรึม\" และนาไปจาหน่ายดว้ ยทุก คร้ังเมื่อมีการแสดง ซ่ึงไดร้ ับผลตอบรับท้งั ดา้ นดีและไม่ดีมากมายเพ่ือนามาใชป้ รับปรุงการแสดงใหส้ อดรับกบั ความตอ้ งการของผชู้ ม และพฒั นามาจนกระทง่ั ประสบความสาเร็จเป็นวงกนั ตรึมระดบั แนวหนา้ ต้งั แต่ปี พ.ศ. 2538 เป็นตน้ มา ดว้ ยความสามารถที่หาตวั จบั ยาก จึงทาใหไ้ ดร้ ับรางวลั ประกวดกนั ตรึมมากมายนบั สิบรางวลั จาก จ.สุรินทร์ บุรีรัมย์ ศรีสะเกษ อีกท้งั การเสียสละตนเพ่ือถ่ายทอด งานศิลปวฒั นธรรมแขนงน้ี ทาใหน้ ้าผ้งึ เมืองสุรินทร์ไดร้ ับเชิญใหม้ าสอนวิชานาฏศิลป์ พ้ืนบา้ น สาขานาฏยศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวทิ ยาลยั มหาสารคาม และยงั ไดร้ ับเชิญใหเ้ ป็นวิทยากรบรรยายและสาธิตเกี่ยวกบั ศิลปวฒั นธรรมอยเู่ นืองๆ สาหรับวงกนั ตรึมคณะที่น้าผ้งึ แสดงอยนู่ ้นั ปัจจุบนั มีชื่อวา่ \" ดงมนั รักกนั ตรึม \" โดย เริ่มแรกเป็นดนตรีบรรเลงประกอบในพิธีกรรม การเขา้ ทรง รักษาไข้ และ บรรเลงกล่อมหอแต่งงาน ต่อมาไดพ้ ฒั นารูปแบบอยา่ งหลากหลาย ท้งั แนวพ้ืนบา้ นโบราณ แนวประยกุ ตท์ นั สมยั ความโดดเด่น อยทู่ ่ีความไพเราะของปี่ ออ้ ความหวานของซอกนั ตรึม และการขบั ร้องประกอบการบรรเลง นอกจากน้นั กจ็ ะมีการฟ้อน จากการประดิษฐท์ ่าฟ้อนรา ใหเ้ หมาะสมกบั เอกลกั ษณะของ ทอ้ งถิ่น
