In Al Ain, five organisa- tions, the Tawam Hospital, Al Noor Hospital, Al Ain Rugby Club, Al Ain Zoo and Al Ain Mall are working against the clock to arrange a series of events to create breast cancer wareness. A series of programmes were held at the Al Ain Mall. Stu- dents, parents and teachers from our school participated in the programme. Early detection is The best way to combat breast cancer.
Page 2 MELANGE AWARD CEREMONY AND VALIDATORY DAY The word Melange is of French origin means “a mixture”. Bhavan's melange award ceremony was conducted on 13th of Oct 2016 . The function stared with a universal prayer by the school choir team. The honorable Chief guest for the day Mr. Das presided over the function in the presence of our respected Princi- pal, Staff, Students and Parents. Prize winners of Bhavans mélange were awarded with Trophies and Cer- tificates. The Validatory Day was also observed on the same day. The first prize win- ners performed their respective items and enthralled the audience.KINDERGARTEN SPORTS DAY The Kindergarten Sports Day was conducted on 20th October 2016. The Function started with the Assembly of ath- letes, Flag Hoisting and March Past. The Club Sec- retary took the Oath. There were many sports items like the Lemon and Spoon, Cricket Ball throw, Mu- sical chair, 100 meter relay etc. In addition to these there was a wonderful demon- stration of Yoga and Aerobic Dance. Our toddlers also displayed a spectacular Dragon dance . Program ended by vote of thanks by our respected Principal.

The festival is cele-brated all over India with joy and fervor. ‘Nav’ means nine and ‘Ratri’ meansnight. The festival is celebrated over a period of nine nights and 10days. Children were performed a classical dance based on Navarathri.
Page 4 MALAYALAM SPECIAL ASSEMBLY A special assembly was conducted in the a/c auditori- um to create awareness of Malayalam literature and culture. This south Indian language is widely spoken in the state of Kerala. Children performed dance and skit that projects the Heritage and Cultural values of “God’s Own Country”. Inter House Sports Inter house sports meet was con- ducted on…..Teams Venus and Ju- piter combined beat the Ally of Athena and Pluto in neck to neck encounter. The various Items were Basketball, Football, Free throw , Chess, Bas- ketball, Dribbling etc. One could witness the team spirit and the tal- ent in our children. Some of them had their Jersey carrying the names of icons like Messy, Ronaldo and other international sports persons. The chess competitions resembled the games of Grand masters in terms of intelligence and patience. A Free throw game was played be- tween the Staff.

The houseboard was decorated with lots of articles andcreative work done by the students. TEACHERS FAREWELL PARTYMs Jennifer was the Academic Co-Coordinator whoalso handled French. Her classroom environmentwas always a wonderful place . She is all set to mi-grate to North America.Bon voyage !Ms Gopika taught the KG toddlers. She was instru-mental in integrating young children into the worldof learning by teaching them social skills, personalhygiene, basic reading skills etc.A Farewell party was conducted on 27th of October2016 evening.We Wish them good Luck !
