Gulf Extrusions Page 2 Magazine For the first time: 3D Printed Die Manufactured Gulf Extrusions is proud to announce that for the first time, it has extruded a 3D printed die manufactured in collaboration with WEFA, using AM Technology. The die was manufactured for an architectural profile used for window fitments. Keeping in line with our vision to be the global aluminum center of excellence, Gulf Extrusions is always looking at innovating and being a company of firsts. We have always aspired to move forward towards a new era of extrusion through 3D printed dies and die correction, using artificial intelligence (AI). Gulf Extrusions has been doing research and development for the past year to execute 3D printing. This is a revolutionary step in 3D printing as it cuts down manufacturing time drastically vs. conventional processes (approximately one or two days instead of two weeks), makes highly complex shapes, and helps manufacture dies made of Inconel Steel which is otherwise unimaginable. We would like to give a special thanks to Suresh Annadurai, our Die Shop Manager, and his team for leading this and making it possible.

Gulf Extrusions Page 4 Magazine Gulfex Receives Authorized Extruder Certificate from Schuco Gulf Extrusions is pleased to have received a certificate of authorization from Schüco as an authorized extruder for the year 2020. We value this recognition and look forward to a continued and long-lasting relationship together.

Gulf Extrusions Page 5 Magazine COVID-19 Tests for Employees Gulf Extrusions, in collaboration with Medsol Labtech, a leading diagnostic lab and medical service provider in the UAE conducted COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for employees. The PCR test is currently the only type of test approved by the local and international health authorities for the diagnosis of COVID-19. The test is conducted through a nasal swab and the results are available in 2-4 days. Gulf Extrusions hopes you and your loved ones are healthy and safe.

Gulf Extrusions Page 6 Magazine First Aid Training Course at Gulfex Gulf Extrusions in collaboration with a premium multi-specialty safety training provider in the UAE, Save Fast Fire and Safety Training, organized a series of first aid training courses for a group of Gulf Extrusions employees between the 26th of July and the 5th of August. This first aid course gave our employees the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to emergency situations and reduce complications that might ensue to ensure their safety at their workplace. It also gave them the confidence to act when needed. The training course covered several important topics including how to manage incidents, checking the vitals of a person, how to do a risk assessment and what safety procedures to take at the site of a particular incident. Participants were trained on how to deal with many different types of cases including heart attacks, burns, unconsciousness, sun strokes, bleeding, airway obstruction, etc. They also learned how to perform CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator, and how to bandage injuries and control blood flow. Gulf Extrusions reconfirms its commitment to improving the health and safety of its employees.

Gulf Extrusions Page 7 Magazine Montana Performance Testing Success Gulf Extrusions is proud to announce the success of the performance testing of its Montana System (sliding door). The testing was conducted by Al Futtaim Element Materials Technology Dubai (AFE). Tests passed: - The Air Infiltration Tests - The Water Penetration Tests (static and cyclic pressure) - The Wind Resistance Tests Gulf Extrusions would like to thank everyone who made this possible.
