Wine Society MembershipSweet, red, dry, white, bubbly or not, members of the Wine Society enjoy and learnabout all varieties of wine from around the world. The Wine Society of Bent Tree CountryClub has 100 members who enjoy monthly wine events such as dinners, tastings and“stock your cellar” events.The Wine Society of Bent Tree Country Club was founded on the premise of enjoyingmember to member camaraderie, good wine and great food. From the wine novice tothe tenured vino collector, the Wine Society of Bent Tree Country Club will provideunique opportunities to taste and explore the vast world of wine, wine making, winehistory and all the enjoyment that accompanies fermented grape juice.Full Wine Society Membership$100 per member one time initiation fee$200 per person annual dues, $350 per couple to be billed in September Membership is limited to 100 persons or 50 couples

Withover 10,000 producers in Bordeaux the classification process sought to rank the bestwine producers in five unique classes for red wine. Amazingly enough, 160+ years later,much of the original 1855 classification is still valid.Considered the gold standard in the world of wines, vino from this historic region oftencommands the highest prices in the world arguably due to quality, history, limitedquantities and high demand. Event DescriptionsWine Tastings are casual gathers held with the intent to expose members to a certainnumber of wines. Typically various cheeses, crackers and fresh fruits will be served toenhance the experience while ensuring the focus remains on the wines being tasted.These events are designed to last 45 – 75 minutes.Wine Dinners are designed to provide members with a full culinary experience throughcareful consideration of pairing each wine with a specific culinary creation. Theseevents will typically last no less than two hours as each member will experience a four tofive coursed meal with superb wines.Registration and Cancellation PolicyThe details for each event is posted on the Club’s website. Pricing for each event varies,as a portion of each member’s dues is used to subsidize the cost of each event.Registration will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Billing will not be applied if youcancel at least 72 hours in advance.Guest PolicyMembers of the Wine Society of Bent Tree Country Club are allowed invite guest. Inorder to maintain exclusivity of the Wine Society of Bent Tree Country Club Members ofBent Tree Country Club are not allowed to attend events unless the event is deemed tobe open to all Members of Bent Tree Country Club.Resignations and Waitlist PolicyResigning Members of the Wine Society of Bent Tree Country Club must submit theirrequest in writing to Club Management. Forfeiting one’s membership will result in the lossof the one-time initiation fee. Annual dues may be reimbursed at a prorated amount atthe discretion of management and could vary depending on the time of year and/orhow many events have taken place.Members of Bent Tree Country Club in good standing requesting to join the WineSociety of Bent Tree Country Club must submit their request in writing to ClubManagement. Membership will be granted in the order requests are made on a firstcome first serve basis. Should a Member on the waitlist decline membership into theWine Society of Bent Tree Country Club they will lose their spot on the waitlist by beingplaced at the end.
