Spectator Welcome to University Ridge Golf Course and the 2022 Information American Family Insurance Championship! Since its debut in 2016, the championship has raised Thank You to $12.6 million for charity, with proceeds distributed by the Our Sponsors Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation to American Family Children’s Hospital and other nonprofit Course Maps organizations that strengthen our communities and make them great places to live and work. We are especially grateful for the generous support of our sponsors and partners, and for you – our fans – for making this possible. The AmFam Champ traditionally has one of the strongest PGA TOUR Cham- pions playing fields, and this year is no different. Host Steve Stricker returns, along with some of golf’s most accomplished players, including two-time defending champion – and Madison native – Jerry Kelly. We are also excited for the return of several popular and fan-friendly events, including the UW Carbone’s Race for Research. Held adjacent to University Ridge at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course on June 4, this run/walk benefits adult and pediatric cancer research. The American Family Insurance Championship concert, presented by Madison Media Partners, also returns to Breese Stevens Field on June 10. The concert features Lady A, with special guests Boyz II Men and Edwin McCain. The AmFam Champ Celebrity Foursome, hosted by Andy North, is also back on Saturday, June 11. Andy is a two-time U.S. Open champion and joins fellow Wisconsin sports legend and NFL Hall of Famer, Brett Favre, and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Derek Jeter. New to our event is Juli Inkster, a 31-time LPGA winner, World Golf Hall of Fame member, and former Solheim Cup player and captain. We are excited to have you join us!
