PRE-CELTA COURSE 51 English Book Education is launching a 25-hour Pre-CELTA Course in July- August 2020 to give the participants a chance to prepare for CELTA. The preparation course for CELTA covers the basic principles of effective teaching and gives you proper knowledge how to deal with the tasks that are given in CELTA course. The course is for English language teachers and for people who are interested in becoming English language teachers. Pre-CELTA course bundles modules that deal with methodology and approaches for working in the classroom. The course is quite intense and trainees need to take on a lot of information. It aims to help aspiring teachers to teach in a better way and to deepen their knowledge in this area as well. COURSE CONTENT ■ This intensive course covers the following areas: ■ Input sessions - you will learn the CELTA lesson frameworks and how to teach different stages of each lesson framework; ■ Teaching practice - you will learn how best to plan your lessons, try lesson planning of your own and gain tips of effectively conducting teaching practices; ■ Written assignments - you will learn the requirements of each written assignments and try doing mock assignments of your own.
