This level also includes a separate80’bell tower structure in which the existing parishbells were placed after their renovation.The lower level includes the Parish offices, meetingrooms, and a spacious fellowship hall. This major renovationredesigned existing space to create a moremodern and efficient layout. Improvementsincluded relocation and consolidation of staffoffices, the addition of a Teen Center and a soundabsorbing children’s area, expansion of outdoorreading areas, and the creation of a “vending caféor marketplace style” display area with convenientseating. The building is the first of multiple buildingsplanned for the 26-acre site. K&L worked with theDeveloper and the Architect on the exterior shell andinterior core of the building and continues to providethe same services for the tenant build-out finishes asleases are executed.The 60,000 SF building includes extensive use ofglass and is accented by masonry and architecturalmetal panels. The windows will provide beautifulviews of the Columbia bluffs landscape and JeffersonBarrack’s Bridge over the Mississippi River. The fifthfloor features a large conference room which will beavailable for a wide range of events, that has accessto a roof terrace enhancing the experience from thefifth floor.The Developers chose the name 11 South, as a resultof the location, 11 miles south of the Gateway Arch.The first tenants are scheduled to begin occupyingthe building by the end of 2016.
