About the Author/Illustrator Dr. Mark Merril A. Laguyo is a kindergarten teacher, he is a Graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education at the University of Southern Mindanao Main Campus, Kabacan, Cotabato. He is also a graduate of Early Child Education at Southern Philippines Methodist College, Kidapawan City. He pursued his master’s degree at Central Mindanao Colleges, taking up Master’s in Education Major in Educational Management. Finally, he graduated his Doctorate Degree at Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology major in Educational Management. His experience as kindergarten teacher and love for children for ten (10) years help him to embrace the passion to create books that are suited for kindergarten learners with his training and seminar on illustrating book he became one of the regional illustrators in region XII.
