Les- Mi~e-ra bles- 2..4..6..0..1! 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from years of unjust imprisonment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life. He is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. Finally, during the Paris student uprising, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves the student revolutionarY who has captured the heart of Valjean's adopted daughter. This year, Jordan High School performed the timeless and beautiful French story centering onthe ideal that lives can change. After four nights of performances, audiences overwhelminglyagreed that Les Miserables was, without a doubt, one of the most successful productions this school has featured. CaKeep mOu-r S-to-ry... This year was a season about goals. The volleyball team committed to each other at the start of the season that they each wanted to achieve a personal goal, but more importantly, a team goal. Attitude and commitment were at the center of every ball bumped, set or spiked. For these athletes, it wasn't just about winning, but about the lessons learned along the way.24 Fall
