LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE By Juri Alhuthali After all of this is said done and this plague is far gone. We must come together and move on as one. Not as a divided community full of hate,  but a community that embodies love and peace. It is said to be impossible, It is said to be but a mere dream. However I urge you all to look around. This virus may have hurt us, and yet it has also enlightened us. In this time of hardship people from all over the world are coming together Bettering their community and making each other smile. Although it is sad to see that it takes a pandemic for us to look at each other in a better light. This pandemic has taught us two valuable, cherishable lessons.  It has taught us that we can not hide behind technology. It has taught that we are weak in the face of nature. It has also taught us that in the face of difficult times, Community is what keeps us sane. Our love for each other. So my dear friends, look to the future with joy, ‫\"اﻟﺠﻤﻴﻊ ﻳﺮﻳﺪ اﻟﻌﻴﺶ ﻓﻲ ﻗـ ّﻤﺔ اﻟﺠﺒﻞ‬ Look to the future as a new slate;  ‫ﺗﻏﻴﺴﺮﻠّـﻣﻘﺪﻪر\"ﻏﻛﺎﻴﺑﺮﻦﻳأﻴ ّنﻞﺳﻏﺮّﺎارﻟﺴﺳﻴﻌﺎﺎدﻣةﺎﻳرﻜﻛﻴﻤﺰﻦ ﻓﻲ‬ a gift to start anew To work together To listen to each other To defend each other  As though we were one nation. Creativity is the Ocean of Our Minds By Sahar Alaswad

TIME CURE By Retaj Al-Helal MY PAINTING IS A REPRESENTATION OF THE MODERN PANDEMIC, COVID-19. IT SHOWS PEOPLE STANDING ON THE ROOFTOPS OF THEIR HOMES LOOKING UP AT A HUGE CLOCK THAT STATES THE NUMBER OF CASES THAT ARE DECREASING CLOCKWISE. This painting is entitled \"Time Cure\", meaning, the pandemic is going to end eventually and it's only a matter of time. It aims to spread a positive picture on a not-so- positive situation.

‫ أن ﺗﻨﺠﻮ ﻳﻌﻨﻲ‬،‫\"أن ﺗﻌﻴﺶ ﻳﻌﻨﻲ أن ﺗﻌﺎﻧﻲ‬ \"‫أن ﺗﻌﺜﺮ ﻋﲆ ﺑﻌﺾ اﻟﻤﻌﻨﻰ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﻌﺎﻧﺎة‬ ‫ﻧﻴﺘﺸﻪ‬ INTRODUCING THE ARTIST LAMA DULLI AND THE INSPIRATION BEHIND HER ABSTRACTS I love art and I consider it more than just were undecided; teenagers, kids, and even a hobby; it's more of a lifestyle. I paint very adults all have this factor in common, and it often and usually can't stop when I do so. I is normal. This is what inspired me to paint paint 2-3 paintings a day when I paint. THE STATE OF SERENITY By Lama Dulli THERE IS A CONTRAST HERE BETWEEN THE WHITE BACKGROUND AND THE COLORFUL ABSTRACT. The colors in the paintings show the things that could happen in our daily imperfect lives; the obstacles people face even when they aren't expecting it which represent the different states someone could go through.

COLOR THE BLANKS By Lama Dulli IN “COLOR THE BLANKS” I FOCUSED ON HAVING BRIGHT AND PASTEL COLORS, SO THE COLORS ARE THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE PAINTING. Although there is black in the background, the colors will stand out more symbolizing the main thing people should focus on which is to try looking at the brighter side of things.

BLINDFOLDING THE TRUTH By Lama Dulli I TRIED TO MAKE THE BACKGROUND AS NEUTRAL AS POSSIBLE AND I USED DIFFERENT SKIN TONES TO MAKE IT A LITTLE MORE REALISTIC THAN THE OTHER ABSTRACT PAINTINGS TO REPRESENT OUR TRUE IMPERFECT SELVES. The title of this painting, “Blindfolding the Truth”, represents how people are coping with this situation; their denial, paranoia, fear, and all the other feelings they are trying to avoid. It's OK to feel, to think, and to reflect, but overthinking is unhealthy, and so is not reflecting at all.

GAZING AT THE COLORS By Lama Dulli THIS PAINTING REPRESENTS SELF-REFLECTION FOR ME, PERSONALLY. I TRIED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO ADD LARGE DETAILS THAT WOULD STILL KEEP THE PAINTING IN THE FORM OF AN ABSTRACT, TRYING TO GIVE THE ILLUSION OF THE GIRL IN THE PAINTING STARING AT SOMETHING OR SOMEONE. Self-reflection is very important because it helps with moving on and improving mental health and the ability to accept ourselves, and many people need that during the global pandemic that would forever change our lives.
