SILENT AUCTION The AUCTION PROCEDURES silent auction begins at6:30pm. To bid on an item, write your name and paddle number next to the amount you want to bid on the bid sheets on the tables.Alteration of bid sheets will void your bid. The silent auction will close in stages beginning promptly at 8:30pm when class projectbidding will close. Other sections will close thereafter with the last section closing before 9:15pm. A signal will be given before theclosing of each category. At closing, no further bids will be accepted and bid sheets will be removed.LIVE AUCTION The live auction will be led by auctioneer Alasdair Nichol. The live auction will begin at 9:15pm. To bid on an item,you will hold up your paddle (the number on the back of the auction catalog) as the auctioneer calls out the bid. The auctioneer willaccept the final bid by announcing “sold to #_____.” The auctioneer’s decision is final.CHECK OUT & PAYMENT All items must be paid for and taken the night of the event. Items from the live and silent auctions can bepaid for in the check-out area. The check-out table will open at approximately 10pm, or when all the winners from the silent auctionare determined. An announcement will be made. Payment can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.Please make all checks payable to PS41 PTA. Items not picked up at the end of the evening will incur a $75 service fee. Theseitems will be available for pickup at the PTA office starting Thursday, March 23. Items that are not taken at the event or picked up byFriday, April 21, 2017 will be forfeited and considered property of the PS41 PTA.
