EXECUTIVE Note Summer has arrived at Brennan! I returned to our Corporate Headquarters just in time to welcome this year’s summer interns. We are so lucky to be able to have such a bright group of students and the opportunity to lead the next generation. We were recognized as one of the 2023 Best Employers in Ohio by Crain’s Cleveland Business. Your feedback was a major portion of the scored criteria and we will continue to make Brennan one of the best places to work in the WORLD, not just in Ohio. Renovations have been completed in Dallas and Houston! There are many exciting things taking place in Texas- including our recent acquisition of the Rhino product line, also located in Houston. More exciting news out of Texas: The Texas A&M University Department of Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution’s Fluid Power Club won first place in the National Fluid Power Association’s annual Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge- and they used Brennan adapters. Brennan aquires SRM Industries & RHINO PRODUCTS We are happy to announce the acquisition of SRM Industries of Houston, Texas including its RHINO family of products. SRM has been marketing hydraulic hose protective products such as its RHINO Sleeve™ and RHINO Wrap™ since 2005. This acquisition adds these durability enhancing products to our wide ranging line-up of hydraulic fittings and accessories. I am excited that this acquisition will take SRMs RHINO products to a wider market than ever before. It was fast paced and encouraging to learn about the Brennan focus on the people that make the company run. Although my role has not changed a great deal, I am excited to see where our Rhino products will go from here with the resources Brennan has to offer. If there’s one thing we should know about our new teammates, what would it be? What was your first impression of Brennan? We are a proud group that works hard to maintain a positive standing in the industry. With Brennan, I see a global company that cares for its people and is not afraid to invest in the future. If you didn’t live in Texas, where would you live and why? It would be Louisiana because that is my birthplace, so I feel very connected to the culture What do you like to do when you’re not at work? I like to create and repair things with my hands-- I love tools.

Not only that, she increased on-time delivery percentages from 60% to over 90% for all of her main accounts. Kelsey and her boyfriend recently moved to California with their dog Mummbles. megan smith, bmg uk - office manager Megan Smith is our new Office Manager at BMG UK! She previously worked for nine years as an Administrative Assistant for a company that tests and manufactures car engine ECU units. At BMG UK, Megan answers any incoming calls, processes customer purchase orders, updates office databases, sam stark, bmg uk - quality tech Sam Stark is our new Quality Tech at BMG UK! He moved into Quality after eight years of learning CNC machining, pressure testing, roll stamping and powder coating. At BMG UK, Sam is responsible for daily checks on the machine centres, first and last offs, raising inspection sheets and more. chanelle wilson, pc 71 - business development manager Chanelle Wilson is our new Business Development Manager at PC 71! The podcast features thought leaders and experts sharing the stories of real-life manufacturing professionals. Matt discusses the cultural transformation at BMG, emphasizing open communication, employee development, and fostering inclusivity. He shares the challenges faced and the three critical initiatives implemented to create a lasting positive impact on the company’s culture. I like to have an open door policy ... by doing my rounds on the floor each day, multiple times a day, they are engaged with me and I am engaged with them. I try to encourage them, if they have any problems, to come talk to me about it-- personally or professionally.

Texas A&M wins With Brennan At Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), Brennan’s sales team got to congratulate the Department of Engineering Technology & Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University Fluid Power Club on winning first place in the National Fluid Power Association’s annual Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge! The Vehicle Challenge is a competition that combines two technology platforms that are not normally associated with one another—human-powered vehicles and fluid power. Teams are tasked with designing and building their own fluid power vehicles over the course of a school year. The program culminates in final competitions at two separate locations. The Texas A&M team’s fluid-powered bicycle, which utilized a hydraulic circuit instead of a chain to transfer power from the rider to the wheels, outshined 11 other finalist schools. AND they used Brennan adapters. We are honored to have been a small component of your great achievement. Well done! For their achievements, the team earned a total of $4,000. Of the total cash prize, $2,000 will be used for next year’s engineering technology and industrial distribution department capstone program, and the other $2,000 will be split between the team members. 28 BRENNAN Newsletter

His responsibilities include targeting new OEM accounts from leads, conducting research, updating records and helping maintain client relationships via phone, email and meetings. sean carr, sales intern ohio state university This summer, Sean is assisting the sales team with their ongoing projects to help expand Brennan’s business through research, data, communication and building customer relationships grace king, uk operations intern Aberystwyth University Across the pond, Grace is working with our BDM and CSR teams to contact customers for open orders, analyzing gaps in the supply chain. She is also analyzing dead stock items, reviewing usage of items and reclassifying them to support demand. aidan krishnaney, corporate intern university school Aidan is a Corporate Intern this summer. He is supporting Brennan’s ESG initiatives by doing research and gathering data from external and internal contacts. gianna lasalvia, legal intern john carroll university Gianna is our Legal Intern from John Carroll University. She is tasked with researching, developing and implementing a regulated hazardous substances recordkeeping and reporting platform for Brennan products. sam ornstein, finance intern university of cincinnati Sam joins us from the University of Cincinnati as our Finance Intern. He is analyzing and adjusting customer credit limits to adapt to new NetSuite procedures, drafting and revising documentation of finance processes and procedures and assisting in the completion of internal and external audits.

kylie rico, Hr & marketing intern ohio university Kylie is majoring in Business Management and Strategic Leadership, with a certificate in Event Management and a minor in Broadcasting- that’s a mouthful! She is returning for her second summer at Brennan, advancing from last year’s HR Intern to this year’s HR & Marketing Intern! Welcome back, Kylie! jimmy riley, bmg intern ohio university Jimmy is Brennan’s BMG Intern at our Ohio manufacturing facility. He is implementing a new inventory system, creating bins for inventory and learning more about manufacturing and engineering! isaac shaker, supply chain intern college of wooster Isaac is a Junior and competitive swimmer majoring in Economics. This is his third summer at Brennan! From helping with marketing projects to reviewing CAD prints and now identifying problems and finding solutions for supply chain, we are thrilled to have you back! nathan spencer, it intern ohio state university Nathan Spencer is one of our Information Technology Interns, joining us from THE Ohio State University. He is learning the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process and creating work instructions around that process. samuel weidenthal, it intern university school Samuel is another one of our Information Technology Interns and is also joining us for his second summer in a row! He is reviewing ERP demonstrations and learning the process to create work instructions around it. chase wolinetz, it intern 31 university school Chase is our third (yes, third) Information Technology Intern, joining us from University School along with Samuel. He is also reviewing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process and creating work instructions around it.

Q2’s summer Recipe Photo & Text: recipe-diaries.com mexican street corn tostadas Level: Easy Total: 30 Minutes Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients: Directions: • 8 yellow or white corn tortillas • 1 can of refried beans 1. Mix corn, 1 tbsp. cilantro, 1 tbsp. red onion, garlic, • 1 cup Chihuahua cheese mayo and chili powder in a bowl. Set aside. • 2 or 3 avocados • 15 oz. corn 2. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray each tortilla • 2 tablespoons cilantro on both sides with butter spray. Bake for 8 • 2 tablespoons red onion, chopped to 12 minutes or until golden brown. • 1 teaspoon garlic • 1 tablespoon mayo 3. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork. • 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder Add 1 tablespoon onion, 1 tablespoon cilantro, salt • Salt and lime juice to taste and lime juice to taste. 4. Spread a tablespoon of refried beans on tostada. Top with street corn and cheese. 5. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees. Place tostadas in air fryer on a single layer for 3-5 minutes or until cheese has melted. 6. Add dollop of avocado mixture, serve. 32 BRENNAN Newsletter
