SIX SENSES HOTELS RESORTS SPAS As you lifted the pen to sign your contract with us, you embarked on an exciting story of personal discovery and development. We take our time to carefully seek out individuals who share our values because it’s these kinds of people that we want to become hosts. We need people like you, who understand our philosophy, to reinforce our vision and secure the company’s continued success. At Six Senses we don’t just care for the environment, we care for the people in it. We strive to meet the needs of each and every host because our success depends on each individual’s satisfaction, effort and commitment. We are here to support and energize you as a host so that you can continuously improve productivity and exceed guest expectations. We want you to be proud to work in a unique environment of care, trust, respect, fairness and teamwork, and we try to create this through training, education and empowerment, participation, recognition, rewards and career opportunities. Our resorts are nestled in hidden corners across the globe, but they are all connected by a common thread: The bringing together a rich diversity of cultures. We love to celebrate and embrace the individuality of those cultures whilst being sure to treat our guests and one another with dignity and respect. Central to our success is our ability to empathize and anticipate our guests’ needs with subtlety and consistency. Our hiring practices and training programs allow us to build a culture of openness and we sustain and grow this refreshingly human approach to hospitality through our personal development and enrichment programs. People are at the heart of our business. The experiences we craft, the service we deliver, the connections we build are only possible based on a deep commitment to nurturing our team and becoming positive participants in the communities in and around our locations. And whilst being part of the local fabric and culture, Six Senses is very much in tune with the wider world. It offers crafted guest experiences to stimulate, energize and revitalize the human spirit, delivered by experts from a wide Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 11

range of backgrounds. Our intimate resorts offer an emotionally intelligent approach to service that begins with empathy. Our approach has a touch of quirkiness, which supports delightful and unexpected surprises, delivered out of constant curiosity and willingness to challenge the norm. The responsible and caring attitude of Six Senses is at the very heart of our brand and this attitude extends to hosts and the local communities in which Six Senses operates. Our overarching goals and values guide our commitment to preserving the environment through sustainable operations. All aspects of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas operations, including the Evason brand, embrace these Six Senses values, which help to define our brand. From its beginnings in 1995, Six Senses quickly became recognized as the hospitality industry’s pioneer of sustainable practices, demonstrating that responsibility can be successfully wedded to uncompromised high-end facilities. We’re at a pivotal moment in our journey as Six Senses expands into new and exciting locations, creating destinations unto themselves. Whilst forging ahead we will not lose sight of where this story first started and the enduring Six Senses mission remains as strong as ever -- to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them. We welcome you on board as we begin writing the next chapter of the Six Senses story. SUSTAINABILITY Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas have been loud and passionate supporters of sustainability for the last two decades, long before it was considered fashionable. For us, sustainability is not just a marketing buzzword; it’s not a token phrase, it’s at the very core of everything we do. It runs through our rivers, you can taste it in our food, it powers our activities, it shapes our decisions. Everything we do is designed to provide a platform for experiencing the simple beauty of nature. For Six Senses, sustainability is much more than community social responsibility, it is just good business. We have long been recognized as the hospitality industry’s pioneer of sustainable practices, demonstrating that responsibility can be successfully combined with uncompromised high-end facilities. But it’s about more than just being responsible to our guests. As a company founded upon Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 12

sustainability, we understand that we also need to care for the hosts, local communities and ecosystems in which we develop and operate. Six Senses sustainability is not about sacrifice; rather it is a celebration of abundance. The unique environments, cultures and experiences we share with our guests are not meant to be experienced just once. Sustainability ensures that future generations can enjoy them with Six Senses for many years to come. For us sustainability is, and always has been, integrated, intuitive and innovative. Taking a “less than” approach to minimize our impact on the planet just doesn't cut it anymore. Proactive and positive actions are what’s required to see all of us successfully into the future. Powered by passion and driven by pragmatism our actions are both measurable and meaningful in the property and at our Earth Lab. Please take a bit of time to learn about our sustainability activities. We’d love for you to spend some time participating more fully in our sustainability efforts. Here are just a few of the (Resort/Spa/Residence) activities related to sustainability: 1. Code of conduct for dolphin watching 2. Environmental training e.g. An hour with Manta, Marine Biology, Turtle Talk, Groupers, Plastic Free 2022 3. Segregation of Waste 4. Educating local communities and schools 5. Island and Reef Cleaning 6. Trashed Movie 7. Turtle Nest Watching 8. Sustainability Committee Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 13

WELLNESS At Six Senses, we help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them. For it is only when we reconnect with ourselves that our connections with others become truly meaningful. Our passion for health is evident in our constant search for new ideas and the best wellness experts, in the products we choose, the treatments we design and the sustainable practices we implement. Our in-house expertise and global relationships with practitioners and well- being leaders allow us to blend new thinking with some of the most established ancient practices, deliver integrated wellness experiences and bespoke programs, all in the pursuit of our guests’ health. We give our guests the tools to pursue a better quality of life and help guide them on their path to wellness. Six Senses Integrated Wellness In recent years, we have been working with some of the most highly respected doctors and wellness professionals from around the world in developing an approach to wellness that addresses some of the most common issues people face as a result of their ultra-stressed and busy lives. This has come hand in hand with the shift in the role of wellness in the hospitality industry. The fact that wellness is no longer confined to the four walls of a spa or a fitness center has sparked our innate desire to offer an integrated approach to health and wellness that is not only offered at our resorts and spas, but presented so that the knowledge and practices are easily incorporated into the everyday lives of our guests. And the result is Six Senses Integrated Wellness. There are several building blocks that form the foundation of this concept, including nutrition with Eat With Six Senses, Sleep With Six Senses, movement, alternative therapies, holistic treatments, yoga, meditation and mindfulness. The ultimate goal is to offer guests real benefits and guidance by providing in- depth information about their health and personalizing every aspect of their stay at Six Senses resorts and spas to enhance their lives and well-being. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 14

Mission Wellness At Six Senses, wellness is not just for our guests. We recognize that every host needs to achieve balance just the same. Mission Wellness (MW) is our host wellness program offering a range of activities, guidelines and knowledge all to assist hosts in achieving balance in the workplace. Mission Wellness is infused into every department, incorporating wellness for our hosts from the activities offered every month to the delicious meals provided in your host café/canteen. Make sure to sign up to any fun activities or join your Mission Wellness committee. Mission Wellness also transcends to our personal lives, focusing on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. What are the Eight Dimensions of Wellness? These are eight areas that make up one’s overall health from Emotional feelings to Spiritual connections. The goal at Six Senses is to make sure all hosts are equally balanced in all eight dimensions which brings us to the next questions: “How balanced are you?” Find out from your Human Resources & Training team to learn more. SIX SENSES VISION & VALUES Six Senses Vision and Values – are at the core of our company culture and you are expected to support and live by these value statements and the intrinsic meaning behind each one of them. To help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them. VISION In today’s world of increasing work hours and growing stress levels, we find it hard to gain perspective, to focus on what really matters in life, to appreciate all that is around us. It’s only when experiencing something out of the ordinary that we begin to feel a change for the better. As our senses are reinvigorated, our natural intuition takes over, we feel alive, leaving us open to reconnect with the world, nature, others and ourselves. Where does a connection come from? Connection can happen through a loud and passionate debate with friends. Connection can come from a perfect lotus flower. Connection can happen when you see a lizard sunning itself on top of your shower. Connection can happen while you drink a gin and tonic while taking in the perfect sunset. Connection can come from a view of a billion stars in the night sky. Connection can happen while you build the biggest sand castle ever. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 17

INTRODUCTION 1.1 About This Guidebook As in all good relationships, it’s good to set out some basic ground rules. Now that we’re family we thought it would be the perfect time to do just that. This Host Guidebook has been written to walk you through some guidelines for your working relationship with Six Senses Laamu (also referred to as ‘hotel’, “resort’, ‘spa’ or ‘company’). As a company we are really good at what we do. We want to make sure we continue this success, which is why it’s really important that all of our hosts understand these guidelines. The Host Guidebook will help you to familiarize yourself with the various aspects of working at Six Senses Laamu. Think of the Guidebook as secret intelligence about the company; helping you understand us and our quirky ways. There’s a lot of information to take in so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask your department head or a member of the management team. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 18

1.2 About Our Guidelines To make sure we’re always at the top of our game, our guidelines, practices and benefits are continuously reviewed, and we expect to update them from time to time. Therefore, you should always check with your manager or supervisor for the most current guidelines. Company benefit plans are defined in legal documents such as insurance contracts, official plan texts and trust agreements. This means that if a question ever arises about the nature and extent of plan benefits or if there is conflicting language, the formal language of the plan documents govern, not the informal wording of this Guidebook. Where applicable, plan documents are available for your inspection in the Human Resources office. The contents of this Guidebook, as well as any other company policies, which govern your employment, are guidelines only. The company has the right, with or without notice, in an individual case or generally, to change any of its guidelines, procedures, working conditions or benefits at any time to the extent permitted by law. Such changes will be communicated to you through a variety of different means, such as payroll enclosures, bulletin boards, resort and/or departmental meetings, shift briefings and other written communication. This Guidebook is the property of Six Senses Laamu and shall be treated by hosts as confidential. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 19

2. RESORT DIVISIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Administration Executive Office The General Manager of the resort has her home in the Executive Office. This department is the “headquarters” of the operation where they establish standards, manage the administration of all resort departments, ensure achievement of financial results and coordinate all resort operations. Finance It’s all facts and figures in the Finance division; here they maintain systems to provide records of assets, liabilities and financial transactions as well as preparing and processing the payroll. Receiving, Purchasing, IT and Loss Control departments are all housed within the Finance division. Human Resources and Training As a cultural attaché, the Human Resources and Training division is responsible for the implementation and ongoing commitment to the company vision and values. Here they take care of the hiring and development of suitably qualified applicants as well as ensuring that all employment related guidelines and legislation are followed and practiced within the resort. Those working in Human Resources and Training coordinate and handle all host benefits, training and recognition programs, host activity programs and health and safety management. The division is home to Recruitment, Training, Internal Development, Compensation, Benefits and Host Relations departments. 2.2 Engineering Engineering Maintaining and operating the resort’s mechanical and technical machinery 24 hours per day is what these guys specialize in. They carry out repairs as well as general and preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas. You have the engineering department to thank for keeping the equipment that you use in good working order. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 20

Gardening We give Mother Nature a big say in everything we do in the resort. The gardening team is responsible for the planting and nurturing our organic gardens as well as maintaining all the pathways and landscape areas of the resort. 2.3 Food and Beverage Kitchen Kitchen hosts prepare all our delicious food for our guests, whether for dining in guest rooms or in one of the resort restaurants. Restaurants Our restaurants serve up mouthwatering menus crafted from the finest international and local cuisine. Guests can choose between indoor and outdoor seating all set against stunning backdrops for mouthwatering memories that go far beyond the pages of a regular menu. In-Villa Dining/Destination Dining These hosts ensure guests have a tasty stay, serving up delicious and nourishing foods and beverages to guest rooms. These hosts also create special dining experiences in unique locations around the resort for the ultimate memorable meal. Banqueting Banqueting hosts ensure even big groups receive a personal touch, as they are responsible for providing dining, meeting, entertainment and wedding service to large social and business parties. Stewarding At Six Senses Laamu the finer details are every bit as important as the big ones. Attention to detail is our trademark and Stewarding hosts help with this by maintaining the overall cleanliness and security of all china, glass and silverware. They provide the Food and Beverage outlets with the needed china, glass and silver each day as well as cleaning of the kitchen and the Food and Beverage back of house areas. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 21

2.4 Rooms Division Guest Relations Hosts in Front Office/Guest Relations take everyday hospitality procedures and inject them with humor and warmth. Hosts in this department are responsible for the guest check-in and check-out process, ensuring that all charges have been allocated to the correct guest room or villa. Guest Experience Makers (GEMs) GEMs set the tone for a rich, personal experience from the moment guests step foot in the resort; they are responsible for warmly greeting guests on arrival and for coordinating the guest’s stay. In other less imaginative companies, this position would be called “butler”. Experiences Coordinator Unique experiences in hidden corners of intense natural beauty is what we specialize in, and this is exactly what these hosts provide. Experiences Coordinators focus on making guests’ stays memorable and a part of the fabric of local life, even for our younger guests. These hosts may find themselves organizing or leading sports, water activities, kid’s club, cultural activities and much more. Housekeeping and Laundry Housekeeping hosts service the guest rooms and villas daily. They ensure guests have everything they need before they even realize they need it, replenishing towels, linen and guest amenities, including the mini bar. Housekeeping also maintains the cleanliness of the public and back of house areas of the resort as well as managing the laundry and dry-cleaning service for guests. Uniforms are also issued, cleaned and maintained by Housekeeping. Reservations/Revenue Reservations/Revenue work closely with Sales and yield management to sell our rooms and villas; making sure the rest of us have guests to serve. The team gathers up all the guest information, input it into the computer system and then pass this across to Front Office to allow for a smooth check in and maintenance of guest history. Security These hosts make sure security concerns don’t get in the way of the smooth running of the resort or of guests’ enjoyment. Security hosts are responsible for the loss prevention efforts of the resort as well as maintaining all fire, life, Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 22

health, safety and security systems in good working and operating condition. These hosts ensure that all records pertaining to incidents that occur at the property are properly recorded and filed. Telephones Communication is key so our telephone operators are great at answering all incoming calls, connecting guest calls and taking messages. 2.5 Sales and Marketing Public Relations We think it’s time to share a Six Senses secret … This department coordinates the public relations activities, advertising, promotions, printed collateral and other communications activity for the resort with the aim to let the world at large know we are here to help them log-out of the daily grind and reconnect with themselves. Sales and Marketing The sales and marketing team drives business through various channels. We know how great we are and we want others to know too. Sales oversee the generation of revenue for the resort by providing awareness of services to potential clients and intermediaries. 2.6 Spa / Fitness Center Six Senses Spa’s offer a layered approach that unites a pioneering spirit with treatments that go beyond ordinary. At Six Senses, you will find an intuitive mix of science and human awareness, where our high-tech and high-touch approach defines a service that is crafted around the individual. If you have creative ideas about how we could better our methods, procedures, working conditions, safety, or costs then we would love you to tell us all about it. Maybe you’ve had a brainwave that could benefit our guests, the company or even your fellow hosts; if so scribble them down on one of the forms available in the Host Restaurant and pop it in the suggestion box there. 3.9 Telephone Courtesy Every time the phone rings, it is a chance for us to connect with someone that Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 28

plays a key role in the balance and beauty of the resort. Whenever you can, be sure to pick up the phone within three rings, greeting the caller in a way which is culturally appropriate before telling them your department and your name. If you are answering an in-house call with the name display feature, then you add a personal touch by using the guest’s name where you can. Your aim as a host is to engage with our guests so personal calls should not be made during working hours. Company telephones, guest room telephones and those in public areas are for work-related calls only and not for personal use. Should someone need to contact you in case of an emergency, the call will be forwarded to Security. If you find yourself having to leave an office unattended during office hours, remember to forward the phones to another office/phone so that another host can pick them up. It is important that you do not accept any documents on behalf of the resort or guests, nor answer any Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 32

questions on behalf of the company. This policy is in place to ensure that resort management receives all necessary information pertaining to the company at the earliest possible date so that we can ensure we are fulfilling any legal or regulatory obligations we may have. This policy is not designed to prevent hosts from cooperating with a government investigation. 4.7 Contract of Employment We have asked you to sign a contract of employment to confirm the job offer made to you. Whilst these may not all be familiar to us, our culture of openness teaches us that each person should feel respected and welcomed and sense our wish to understand and value each other’s differences. We focus on delivering rare and unique experiences but what should not be rare and unique in any way is our behavior. We always behave in a courteous, polite, fair, friendly and respectful manner to each other and to our guests. We do not tolerate acts or threats such as intimidation, violence, harassment, discrimination and coercion by anyone against our hosts, guests, vendors or customers. We are part of the local fabric and culture yet in tune with the wider world; we will respect the customs and traditions of our guests and hosts in all circumstances, except where doing so will be a breach of law or create tensions or difficulties between or among people based on conflicts between their beliefs or traditions. 4.9 Drugs and Alcohol Six Senses Laamu is a place for natural, beautiful and relaxing experiences and Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 33

as such is a drug-free workplace. The use, sale, purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or dispensation of a drug or its byproducts on the company’s property, while at work, while on duty, during duty hours, while conducting the company’s business, either on or off company premises, or while operating the company’s vehicles or machinery is a violation of this policy and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. It is a condition of employment that you will not report to work or be working with drugs or alcohol present in your body. Improper use of prescription drugs is also prohibited and may result in disciplinary action. This guideline considers a drug to be an \"illegal drug\" if its use is prohibited or restricted by law. Furthermore, a drug shall be considered illegal if a host improperly uses or possesses the drug regardless of whether such conduct constitutes an illegal act or whether the host is criminally prosecuted and/or convicted for such conduct. The term includes prescription drugs not legally obtained as well as prescription drugs not being used for prescribed purposes. A \"legal\" drug includes prescribed drugs and over-the-counter drugs which have been obtained legally and are used for the purpose for which they were prescribed or manufactured. If you are found to be in violation of this policy you will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. There are limited circumstances in which hosts may use alcohol in moderation during the performance of legitimate job functions provided they have the consent and knowledge of their department head e.g. client entertainment. On occasion alcohol may be served at social events sponsored by the resort but the General Manager must give approval in all such instances. Whilst moderate and limited use of alcohol is acceptable, there is an expectation for hosts to remain responsible, professional, and sober at all times. You must never drive to or from a company-sponsored event while under the influence of alcohol. Should management have cause to suspect you of possessing alcohol, illegal drugs, intoxicants, or controlled substances you will be subject to inspection and search, with or without notice. Your personal belongings, including any bags, purses, briefcases, and clothing, and all company property, are also subject to inspection and search, with or without notice. Any breach of this policy will result in you being immediately removed from the workplace. The company may also bring the matter to the attention of appropriate law enforcement authorities. The use of prescription drugs and/or over-the-counter drugs may affect your Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 34

If you are using prescription or over-the-counter drugs that may impair your ability to safely perform your job or may affect the safety or wellbeing of others we ask that you submit a doctor’s statement stating that use of the prescription drug will not affect job safety. It is not necessary for you to identify the medication or the underlying illness. Various laws are in place to protect the rights of individuals about the confidentiality of medical information, medical treatment, and the use of prescription drugs and substances taken under medical supervision. This policy does not intend to violate or interfere with any of the individual’s rights under these laws. Six Senses Laamu maintains a policy of non-discrimination. We endeavor to make reasonable accommodations to assist individuals recovering from substance and alcohol dependencies, and those who have a medical history that reflects treatment for substance abuse conditions. We encourage hosts to seek assistance before their substance abuse or alcohol misuse renders them unable to perform the essential functions of their jobs, or jeopardizes the health and safety of themselves or any resort host. Six Senses Laamu will attempt to assist its hosts through referrals to counseling, assistance or rehabilitation programs, appropriate leaves of absences and other measures, provided these measures do not impose an undue hardship upon the resort or jeopardize the health and safety of the host, co-workers, our guests or the public. Please note however that a host may not utilize a leave of absence to avoid disciplinary procedures under this policy. 4.10 Eligibility for Rehire If your employment with Six Senses Laamu is terminated for any reason, you will not be considered eligible for rehire. Altering, falsifying or tampering with time records or another hosts time records will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. b. We ask that you follow your work schedule. Please avoid reporting to work in more time than is normally needed to reach your work station after clocking in. At the end of your working shift, please leave work and clock out in a similar reasonable time frame. Any changes to this policy should be specifically approved by your supervisor or manager. Please ensure all work time is recorded; any work performed outside your shift hours should be noted on your time record along with specific supervisory authorization. c. We ask that you do not leave your general work area except for the unpaid meal period, or for the purpose of conducting company business. d. We ask that you check your time record at the end of each pay period to make sure it is complete and accurate. Any errors or omissions can lead to delays in processing your time record whilst we wait for a completion or correction. If for some reason a record is returned to you, please complete and return it immediately. e. We ask that you do not work “off the clock” as this is expressly prohibited. 4.39 Training Six Senses Laamu believes in bringing out the best in people; we love discovering opportunities for growth and nurturing talent. Our series of training programs are here to help you improve your skills and uphold the company’s service standards as well as to prepare you for transfer or promotion. Training not only helps the company but is there to benefit you too. We ask that you attend all scheduled training programs, ensuring you are punctual for the sessions. On occasion you may be asked to attend specific external training courses. In these instances you may be asked to sign a bond agreement with the resort. 4.40 Work Area Cleanliness A neat and spotless work area makes a great impression on our guests and we believe that the key to a clean front of house is a clean back of house. Please take the time to keep your work area neat and organized and help Housekeeping by picking up any litter throughout your working day. From time to time you may be asked to participate in a ‘Spring Clean’ to bring all work areas up to standard and keep things looking their best. Your department head will be on hand to let you know what supplies you may use as we do not use any items that show the logo of another company. Please also avoid posting any signs or notices. If you need to borrow equipment from another department, please be sure to first get authorization of a department head and to then return the items. 5. PERSONAL APPEARANCE, UNIFORMS & GROOMING 5.1 Grooming As a host you are the face of Six Senses Laamu. When it comes to appearance it is often the small details that are the key to creating a big impression for our guests and as such we ask that you take on board our guidance on grooming. When we talk about grooming we are referring to how you appear or look to another person. Of course, fostering a respect for the local culture is important but we also have a few other pointers for you to consider to ensure you’re looking your best and truly embody our vision and values: 1. Body Language and Body Posture 2. Personal Hygiene 3. Uniform and Shoes 4. Hair Here are a few tips to get you started on looking tip-top: 1. Body Language and Body Posture Guests can tell a lot about how you are feeling by the way you stand, sit and walk. Hosts should strive to give the impression they are the best person to serve them. To do this you should try to: ❖ Keep your body held straight and upright at all times – not robotic, just relaxed and confident. ❖ Do not slouch or hunch your shoulders and back. ❖ When you walk, walk with medium length footsteps at a comfortable pace. Again relaxed yet confident is what we’re after. ❖ When you stand, balance your body weight on both feet equally and try to avoid leaning to one side only. ❖ Do not talk or stand with your hands on your hips or crossed on your chest. It makes you seem unapproachable and we want guests to treat us as old friends, not scare them off. ❖ When you sit, keep your back comfortably straight against the chair backrest. ❖ Always have a friendly and active expression on your face. A smile is free but absolutely priceless to all who see it. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 48

❖ Maintain eye contact when you talk to others. What better way to spark those connections that we’re after? ❖ Be ready with a genuine smile. We don’t want you smiling or laughing unnecessarily so that it seems fake but a smile is the best welcome a guest can have. 2. Personal Hygiene You work in the hospitality industry where long hours of hard work are a part of daily life and yet we should appear “fresh” at all time to our guests. It is important that you maintain your body’s hygiene and these few simple guidelines should help you to do that. ❖ Get into the habit of bathing or showering daily. Once before starting your shift and once at the end of the day would be ideal. ❖ Pop on some deodorant to offset body odor during work. ❖ Try not to use strong perfume/after shave as it can be a bit overpowering and we don’t want our guests choking when they come within 100 yards. ❖ It’s what’s on the inside that counts so be sure to change your inner garments every day. ❖ If you are required to wear socks, ensure that these are changed every day. ❖ Ensure that you wear a fresh set of uniform every day. ❖ Brush your teeth at least twice a day – morning and night. ❖ Nobody likes bad breath so use a mouthwash or mint but not chewing gum as this is not permitted while at work. ❖ If you are a smoker, ensure that you wash your hands and rinse your mouth after a cigarette and use a mouth freshener. ❖ Regularly wash your hair with a good shampoo and if dandruff’s a problem for you, grab a medicated shampoo to help clear that up. ❖ Male hosts are kindly asked to shave on a daily basis ❖ Finger and toe nails look best short and neat so keep those clippers handy and trim them regularly. ❖ If you have a skin or any other kind of body infection, make sure you head straight to a doctor to get it treated immediately. 3. Uniform and Shoes Wear your uniform with pride – it’s a badge of honor that shows you are part of the resort! ❖ Wear a fresh uniform every day. Just head to the uniform room to trade in your soiled uniform for a fresh set. Six Senses Laamu – Host Guidebook – March 2020 49

❖ Just like you would if you were buying clothes from a shop, ensure that your uniform is well fitted and in good repair. ❖ You may be great at planning outfits or customizing your clothes outside of work but please wear your uniform in the manner it is to be worn. ❖ We know they look good but uniforms must not be worn outside the company premises, except on resort business. ❖ We’ve thought about the uniform from head to toe so please wear shoes specified by the resort as a part of your uniform, unless otherwise noted. ❖ Again, we know they’re pretty neat but any shoes issued to you are not to be taken out of the resort. ❖ Ensure that your shoes are clean and free of dust and dirt at all times. ❖ Where socks are required to be worn, these must be changed every day. ❖ Ladies, if you are going to be wearing stockings, please make sure you only wear a natural shade. 4. Hair ❖ Your hair is, quite literally, your crowning glory so please ensure you keep it clean and free of dandruff, oil and dirt at all times. ❖ Men this means you too! Gents should pay equal attention to the appearance of one’s hair. ❖ Depending on your position there may be hygiene standards that require your hair be worn in a specific style (i.e. hair coverage in culinary positions, etc.) ❖ Your hair should be maintained throughout the day. Use your breaks to grab a comb and do any touch ups if needed. ❖ Long hair should be neatly tied up and please avoid using large/colorful accessories 5.2 Uniforms Six Senses Laamu provides uniforms, at no cost to you. The lovely folks in Housekeeping will not only issue, but clean and repair your uniforms too. Uniforms should be neat, clean and in good condition at all times. We think our uniforms look great and we hope you do too but please do not wear them off the premises, except on resort business. If at any time your uniform requires mending, please notify the Uniform Room. Each department will have a set of additional accessories relevant to the job and these will be issued to you as and when needed.
