Yellow sands are significantly inferior to white sands in their characteristics and contain a large amount of clay impurities, feldspars, up to 2%, found in smears and hydroxide films. However, the sands of this field, including yellow ones, can be recommended for beneficiation to obtain Quartz concentrate.

The Tozbulak vein quartz field is the most suitable for the production of transparent glass from all deposits of quartz raw materials in Uzbekistan. Because, there is high SiO2 content, low Fe2O3 and TiO2. However, due to the high hardness of the initial product, great difficulties may arise in the extraction of raw materials and obtaining a quartz concentrate of the desired granulometric composition. In addition, it should also be noted that the field does not have large reserves, access to it is extremely difficult and additional difficulties will arise with the organization of a quarry, reducing the cost of raw materials.
