Introducing TheWillos' Band Website | Facebook | Youtube GHOST SHIP Our new single Ghost Ship is inspired by the numerous sightings of a phantom ship in flames sailing on the Northumberland Strait on the east coast of Canada. While the truth is unknown, many believe the doomed ship was carrying Irish immigrants to the maritime provinces when it caught fire and sank. This story was our chance to connect the Irish and Canadian ties that exist also within the band, and personally it was an opportunity to represent a part of Prince Edward Island, known for its vast sandy red beaches, lighthouses and lobster suppers and where I spent every summer growing up. Islanders are quiet, welcoming people and great friends were made there, one of whom we would like to dedicate this new song to; a woman who adopted my sister and myself as her own, who shared recipes, laughs and stories and proudly displayed our photos and celebrated our achievements: Wanda Adams, always ready to welcome us \"home\" in Knutsford and O'Leary with a lemon merengue pie and a game of cribbage. An integral part of our Island memories, she will be missed but never forgotten. | 22 www.countrymusicexpress.co.uk
