DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL NTPC VIDYUTNAGAR Reflections ACTIVITY REPORT APRIL TO JUNE 2021 EDITORIAL Dear Readers, We welcome you to the new session, new beginning with new hopes. Previous academic year 2020 – 2021 went like a bumpy ride, sometimes moving fast and effective, sometimes got slow due to hurdles on the path. Yet with the support of our Educators, Parents & Learners, we were able to reach the destination which is “Knowledge and Learning”. In the beginning, it was not that smooth. But as time went by, we stood up to the challenge. We learnt newer and better techniques. At this point we must appreciate the educators who left no stone unturned to make things happen. They learnt to teach online almost overnight. All of a sudden, they had to learn how to use technology to make things easier and better for learners and themselves. Yet, everything turned out well. We learnt that even activities could be done online. With the efforts put in by educators, parents and learners, we were able to achieve the new heights in online teaching-learning process. Even though everything went online, there was no room for error. Our intent is more on the practical learning and not merely following the traditional educational methods. The pedagogy of school also includes, “Think, Ask, Rise” which was demonstrated by the teachers and followed by learners. We never thought that practical learning can also happen online. But after seeing the efforts from the students, we were awestruck. This last quarter was very important for us as a school. It was the time of results and that too thrilled us. The efforts made by all of us were clearly visible. This edition of Newsletter will showcase the activities done online and will also present the learning outcomes through practical approach Before ending we would like to thank all our dear parents who have stood by us in these tough times. They supported us by having their children attend online classes regularly. It helped keep education on track. Because of their involvement, children did not lose their academic year. Learning went on as if nothing had gone wrong. We pray to God that this tough time shall pass soon and once again DPSVN campus will buzz with the chattering and chirpings of children. “...Yesterday is but today’s memory and tomorrow is today’s dream.”- Kahlil Gibran Wish You All A Happy Reading!!!
