TEARS FROM HIS EYES NTV.ca PHOTO Dear Editor, My name is Sharon Taylor and I live in Kilbride, NL. While watching the NTV Evening News recently I saw a rare thing for any meteorologist, something I have never seen before! Toni-Marie had just given the latest news concerning the fourth grade chil- dren in the US who had been shot and killed. Immediately after that story Eddie was about to give his weather report but was so emotionally moved by the story that Toni-Marie had just given that he was actually crying and wiping the tears from his eyes! COMPASSIONATE FELLOW He actually could hardly speak and had to take awhile to compose himself! I always liked Eddie but now I like him even more! He has such a BIG heart and wasn’t ashamed to express raw emotions to the viewers! Why not I say! I think when a man can cry like that it shows what he’s really made of! He’s such a compassionate fellow and the world could use more compassionate men like Eddie Sheerr! He’s one genuine- ly nice guy and I’m so glad that he chose to come to NL to further his career and start his beautiful family! God bless him! NTV Evening News Hour is lucky to have him! - Sharon Taylor Disclaimer: Opinions and letters published in The Newfoundland Herald are not nec- essarily the views of the Editor, or Publisher.
