I believe the sun is the giver of life and the protector of the land even though it burns us. I believe the red earth is my spiritual relationship to the land but when in drought, has nothing to give. I believe the black is my people even though relationships are lost. I believe that my connections to culture need to be shared. I believe we need to look after the land so it can give back. I believe that people from our past walk by our side. I believe that we need to learn before the time has passed and the elders have moved on. I believe we can choose who to love no matter what race they’re from. I believe we need to be loyal and not lose respect. I believe looks mean nothing cause underneath there’s a good bloke to talk to. I believe family is worth more than money or gold. I believe that I am loved cause people from my past are always with me. I believe that others care when they are taken from their parents. I believe my mother has never recovered from the loss of her children. I believe that children will come back one-day.
