100th Anniversary Community Outreach Gospel Tabernacle UK Our Women’s fellowship department (Gospel Tabernacle) launched its Soup Kitchen on Saturday 5th December 2020, this was to serve the community of Tulse Hill & Brixton Hill. (UK). The funds was raised from the women’s fellowship and the two leaders own personal input. We have received positive feedback back from those experiencing difficulties, stating they have appreciated this support. The two main sisters responsible for this outreach are Sister Marilyn & Sister Pauline. Arlene Gardens Gospel Assembly Essentially, two sets of care packages were distributed primarily to members, and to a few community folks. Packages were distributed in communities such as Pembroke Hall, Queensbury, McVille Terrace, and other areas scattered near and far. Also, cash grants were given to the same set of people, more or less. The number of packages, in total, were approximately One Hundred, with each package valuing three thousand dollars, or there about. The cash grant given to approximately fifty individuals was twenty-five hundred dollars each. The total sum expended was in the vicinity of four hundred and twenty- five thousand dollars. Recipients welcomed the gestures and heartily thanked the church. 51

Bethel Gospel Assembly Bethel Gospel Assembly has continued its outreach ministries through a number of programmes including its (i) Feeding Programme which is done through the Social ministry. Every Wednesday, a cooked meal is prepared and distributed to 50 members of the community (Whitfield Town, Bennett Land). Estimated value per month: $30,000.00 (ii) An average of 35 care packages were distributed to church and community members each month. Estimated cost monthly: $50,000.00. (iii) the Students Assistance Programme (SAP) was spearheaded by Rev. C. Dennis, pays tuition fees at the tertiary level for members of our congregation as well as members of the community. Currently 10 students benefit from the programme. Cost: $5M per annum and (iv) The FACES (Family Assistance, Counselling & Educational Services) ministry assists students with counselling, homework and other after school activities. There are approximately 15 students enrolled. Devices have also been distributed to a number of students to facilitate online classes. An approximate cost to run the programme was $19,000.00. Spring Village The Community outreach activities involved the distribution of Care Packages mainly in the community of Spring Village, amounting to $180,000. The community expressed their thanks and appreciation for the kind gesture. The outreach project was led by a special Covid-19 team led by the Pastor during the months of June and September 2020. 52
