What was the inspiration for starting Drozone and how did youget it started?MC: Inspiration was simple. There was a need for driven, musician minded promoters and I had all the connectionsfrom being in previous bands. I was tired of watching my fellow musicians being taken advantage of so I decided tobook shows with the soul purpose of treating locals like rockstars.MMU: About how many shows did you start booking when you started compared to now? And which oneswould you say have been the best in terms of turnout and line up?MC: I started with one every other month. Now, I’ve thrown multiple shows on the same night. We have a crewof about 14 people that are all educated skilled people that I have personally worked with. Best tounouts/ lineupswould be hard to say. We average 100+ people for an all local gig. Brews & Brews was a blast. We had the cream ofthe crop and hit well over 300 people at the Diesel. This last Crown for the Underground Finals hit 170 and therewas so much talent and love in the building I thought it was going to float away from all the high hopes.MMU: That’s awesome! I always wanted to know how did you come up with the name Drozone Entertainmentand why did you choose it? Were there other name ideas that didn’t make the final decision?MC: Nope. My last name is Cendro. Cen-Dro hence Dro-Zone. If flowed, I liked it ran with it. The name doesn’tmean much it’s the intentions, dedication, and willingness to provide a truly entertaining night that means the most.MMU: What is the outlook for next year looking like, any plans started for more fests? Are you going to domore rounds of CFTU and B&B in years to come?MC: Both of those have been cemented in the yearly line up. They were both held in such high regard that I feel Iwould be letting my following down to not do them. I plan to make each of them more extravagant and higher cal-iber than the last. We always strive to put on a complete SHOW. Not just tossing bands on a stage and calling it anight. We always have eye catching between act events going on, vendors, raffles, and door prizes to keep everyoneentertained. I do have a few magic potions brewing for future events but I can’t leak any of the details. We are look-ing a a personal best in both quality and quantity of shows for 2016.MMU: Nice! If you could put together your own European style open air fest what would your ideal line up belocals and nationals included?MC: Locals would be M102, Distant Decend, It Lies Within, Dragsaw, 61 Miles to Hell, Awaken Astraus, At TheHands Of Victims, Die Sect, Bacchus Symposium, Vicariant, and I know they been out the game for a few years butMindrought. Nationals would be Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, Coal Chamber, Slayer, Gwar, Battlecross, I can go on fordays. LolMMU: When you’re scrolling for music to listen to on an ipod or streaming online, how do you decide what tolisten to when never hearing them before? Or I should say what is the deciding factor for you to choose a ran-dom band to listen to? Is it in the name of the band and the songs or do you listen to it just to check it out re-gardless of genre?MC: Genre holds zero regard to me. If the song doesn’t catch me in the first 10-15 seconds SKIP! There is so muchgood music out there and I want to hear it all! A good song or band title helps. Like picking a new book. If the title
