Three Prompts To Book Sales Team Training Sales team training isn't something to be done once and then forgotten about. It's an ongoing process of reinforcement and learning new skills. Sales environments change annually, so for your team's performance to become – and stay – stellar, regular sales coaching and training is a must. What prompts should point you towards booking sales team training? One obvious time is when new people join your teams. Even if they've come from a sales background previously, or transferred from another internal department, tailored training gets them quickly up to speed with the way you do things. It also helps them hit the ground running when they get out on the road to chase sales. Additionally, it's a great bonding opportunity. Teams that work well together are more likely to get results. Our next indicator that sales coaching is beneficial is if targets change. That's only likely to be in an upward direction! Nobody ever tries to sell less. But upping targets without giving your teams the tools to achieve their goals is demotivating and counter-productive. Lastly, if teams aren't routinely hitting their targets and there's no obvious reason why, sales team training is a must.
