If the answers to the above questions are NO, then put in place the regulations and restrictions in order to address problem. Negative consequences of playing online games: 1. Lack of time for more important activities like studying or outdoor games 2. Addiction 3. Aggressive behaviour. 4. Isolation from society. 5. Detrimental influence on health. There is nothing wrong with playing and enjoying an online game or video console, but like most things when it comes to the online world, it’s a matter of proportion. Video games change one's brain. Most of the bad effects of video games are blamed on the violence it contains. And the fact that video games are addictive and they often confuse reality with fantasy. It is important to schedule your time of playing and strike the right balance of good content and appropriate limits. After all, Online games should enhance your quality of life and not completely take it over.

SEVEN INDIAN VILLAGES WHERE PEOPLE SPEAK SANSKRIT Dr. Manoj B. TGT Sanskrit KV SAP, Thiruvananthapuram Sanskrit is considered as DEVABHASHA, DEVAVANI (both means Gods Own Language/Language of Gods) by ancient and modern India. The script in Sanskrit is called DEVANAGARI, the script of cities of Gods. There were two branches of thoughts whether Sanskrit is ancient or modern, Vedic Sanskrit and Common Sanskrit (the Sanskrit Language which is used by common people). In today’s digital world, Sanskrit is considered as both Vedic Sanskrit and Common Sanskrit (the Sanskrit Language which is used by common people). But what is the real identity of any language - if it is Sanskrit or any other language – Whether it can effectively deliver the meanings of each word as well as the whole sentence between two or more persons. And Sanskrit fulfils this definition as a language. If Sanskrit is DEVAVANI or the Language of Gods and Goddesses, then we are fools, who pray to Gods and Goddess to save or nourish us through our own mother tongue.

Theologists and spiritual philosophers across continents believe Gods and Goddess can understand all languages. Assuming that the Gods and Goddess of all religion know all the languages we use, if it is our mother tongue or regional language or official language of our country, I think it is a spin created by someone or a group of people, for whom, Sanskrit should be used for rituals or religious practices and it should not be used by the general public. Now let’s speak about the status quo of Sanskrit. Sanskrit is a language spoken by most of the people who lived in India, both Aryans and Dravidians. But meanwhile there is NO category of people who speak or use this language as same as they are using their mother tongue in day-to-day life. In this context, I am really happy to reveal some facts about some villages where all the people speak in Sanskrit. 1. Mattur, Karnataka Mattur is a village in Karnataka, located on the banks of river Tunga and is at a distance of about 8 kms from Shimoga (Shivamogga). It is a village widely known for the day-to-day communication in Sanskrit. It is one of the rarest villages in India where all the residents speak in Sanskrit, and all of them consider it as their mother tongue.

2. Jhiri, Madhya Pradesh Jhiri village is located in Sarangpur Tehsil of Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, India. The residents in this village also speak local dialect Malwi, the ancient language replaced by Sanskrit in the last 16 years 3. Sasana, Orissa Sasana is a remote village in the coastal Gajapati District of Orissa. In all the houses of this village we can come across a Sanskrit Pandit who is employed in Government-run Sanskrit medium educational institutions. The residents of this village think that they are proud patrons of Sanskrit, cultural language of India.

4. Baghuwar, Madhya Pradesh Baghuwar is a village, located in Kareli Tehsil of Narsimhapur District of Madhya Pradesh. Sanskrit is the prime language spoken by a majority of the people in this village. 5. Ganoda / Ganora, Rajasthan Ganora is village in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara District of Rajasthan in India. It belongs to Udaipur Division. The people in this village converse with each other in fluent Sanskrit. A decade back, these people were using their mother tongue Wagadi. Things changed when a Sanskrit school up to college level was set up in this village. Nearly all the children joined the school and teachers encouraged them to speak only in Sanskrit. As a result, all the elders also started learning Sanskrit from their children and today each and every house became a ‘Sanskrit house’.

6. Mohad, Madhya Pradesh Mohad is village located in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh of India where Sanskrit is the mother tongue of almost all the residents. 7. Hosahalli, Karnataka Hosahalli, along with Mattur is being popular for using our traditional language Sanskrit as a primary language for its efforts to support Gamaka art, which is a unique form of singing and telling stories in Karnataka along with Sangita (the Carnatic Music). Its lies on the banks of the Tunga River in Karnataka of southern India. Samskrit Bharati, a organization which is formed to promote Sanskrit, is behind the curtain of all these work. Jayatu Samskritam, Jayatu Bharatam.

A WALK IN THE CLOUDS I was sleeping in my bedroom One late afternoon. All alone, in my cozy bedroom I felt as if I was being lifted up Up in the sky To my surprise, I found out that I was walking on the cloud!!! The clouds felt like cotton And my house seemed miles away I was scared a little bit That I would fall apart And crash into the ground But suddenly I heard a sweet voice say “Now it’s time for you to be on your way home”. I found myself falling down and down And finally dropped on my bed and said “Will I ever have a walk against in the cloud someday”! Theerdha S Class: IX C

As a Potterhead, I often like to talk about the magic JK Rowling has cast into the Harry Potter books. These books definitely have a way of magic 'muggles' won't dream about even in their dizziest daydreams. And as one explore this realm of magic with surprising twists and turns, they gradually develop an indomitable admiration towards it. And those who have read it would never in their life forget the fierce friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione, Sirius's neverending endurance, Snape's insufferable pain or Dumbledore's compunctions. All the books in the series have something to reveal, may it be clues or fates. Some chapters in the series leaves a remarkable influence on us. The books manifest friendship, love, loyalty, honesty, optimism and much more. It truly is a gateway to the lessons of life and solutions to an undeniably large number of problems. There are numerous characters in the series, each having an intricate past revealing how they became what they are.Harry's distressing trauma of his past and the acute loneliness he felt really shows how unpleasant one's life can be. He knew that he would either be a victim or a murderer. He knew how hard life could be but still, he fought valiantly as he didn't want anyone else to die for him. His only relief was his friends who stood with him, often even risking their lives. “Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?” “For him?” shouted Snape. “Expecto Patronum!” From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe. She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears. “After all this time?” “Always,” said Snape. The above verse is perhaps the most touching in the whole of Harry Potter series. Almost all Harry Potter fans' favourite chapter is 'The Prince's Tale'. We see young Snape and Lily's fledgling friendship blooming through it. We understand the beauty of friendship and the power of enduring love in Lily's and Snape's past which are laid in front of us over only a few pages, as a few strands of memories. In the end, Harry says to his son Albus Severus Potter that he was named after two of the greatest headmasters of Hogwarts and one of them, Severus Snape, was the best person he had ever known. Those who have read the series won't forget some touching scenes like Harry gazing at the 'Mirror of Erised', Sirius falling through the veil, young Snape and Lily lying on the leafy ground under a canopy of leaves, Snape begging Dumbledore to hide Lily from Voldemort and Harry using resurrection stone to see his loved ones. THE MOTHER TREE AND HER BABY Anecdote by AIN ANAS 5A, Kendriya Vidyalaya, SAP Peroorkada Mamma’s daily war started. War? Yes, it’s something like that. Feeding Aimu is time consuming and a herculean task in Mamma’s career. Today, the war was on our second floor, by viewing the nature around our building. Every day Mamma used different tricks to feed him. Today’s trick was “If you don’t eat, you will not grow like your Pappa and Deedi”. Using that trick she fed two three times. Then Aimu replied by lifting his hand with broken sentences and actions. “Mamma, yesterday, my height was this level and now it is more than that. So no need to eat food now.” Mamma was in trouble. She applied some more tricks, but all were in vain. Aimu was happy, because of not eating. He was watching the trees around him and imitating the sounds of the birds that he heard. Suddenly Mamma came with a new trick, “if you don’t eat, you will grow but will be lean and unhealthy and you won’t be able to drive even our car”. Then he looked around the trees and thought for a while, then started eating food. After some time. Deedeee!! He called loudly and said by pointing too long “that tree became lean because it didn’t eat food given by its mother near to that.” I went near him and saw the trees he was showing. It was a Coconut tree and an Areca palm. In his mind mother is the Coconut tree and baby is the Areca palm. What a brilliant comparison!! Everyone laughed Mamma utilized this idea for a couple of days in her war.

AIN ANAS 5A, Our school life has come to an unexpected halt as Covid-19 has become a global epidemic. We can’t go to school, see our friends, make noise with them or play all the day. Now the situation has changed. Schools can be open at any time. Dear friends! Have you ever imagine how schools will welcome us when we go back? Here is a poem of mine, about our school after lockdown. UNLOCKED SCHOOL The Benches that are afraid to carry weight. The Boards that are afraid of being tickled. The Chalks that are afraid of being rubbed. The Desks that are afraid of being scratched. The Dusters that are afraid of being dusted. The Balls that enjoy to be played with. The Books that enjoy to be read. The Classrooms that enjoy to be alive. The Drums that enjoy to make rhythm. The Trees that enjoy to be played around. The Bells that are angry on being beaten. The Floors that are angry of being trampled. The Keyboards that are angry on being stabbed. The Mobiles that are angry on no entry. The Toilets that are angry on getting dirty.
