The Dawn reflection on that lake, Rings the Marines; it's time to play, Green trees feel the layer of peace as they wake, A small Wetland; flourishes living reasons to be happy and gay! The deepest depth of the Pacific Ocean, Or the Himalayas Glaciers in their slowest motion, All enthralled by the Wetland beauty, Adds innumerable numerality of Nature's duty!! A GLIMPSE OF 2021 IN 1997 Last year, when the government called for a nationwide lockdown, the schooling system had to be shifted to an online platform. Since then, students have been attending online classes and giving online exams. Recently, an Archie comic strip published in 1997 has gone viral for its accurate prediction of online education almost 25 years ago. It depicted Betty cooper’s life as in 2021 AD. In the comic strip, Betty has to sit in front of her video monitor that has to remain uncovered at all times. Her parents feel that Betty is lucky because she neither has to carry books to school nor worry about the weather. It also shows that school has been converted into a school museum since the education system has shifted online. In one of her dialogues, Betty also admits that she wants to return to her conventional high school. People have excitedly taken to the internet to put in their takes about the comic strip and its freaking prediction. ART & CRAFT ACTIVITIES ON A SPREE! Neither the lockdown nor the online mode of classes could contain the creative zeal of the learners, especially from classes VI to VIII. The plethora of activities which the learners participated enthusiastically included Pattern Art, Zentangle Art, Table Coasters, Madhubani Folk Art, Earth Day Posters, Labour Day Activity, Flower Art Study, Mandala Art Study, Calligraphy Art, Bottle Art, 3D Flowers etc. They learnt various forms of art, different types of gel pen techniques, colouring techniques and calligraphy art to improves writing skills, too.
