WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE & HIS WORKS ENGLISH ‘All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.’ Reading and researching about the Father of English Literature is a delight for every English learning student. The students were asked to choose any of the great works of the great Bard of Avon and appreciate the beauty of his work through PowerPoint Presentation by giving a voice over.

NATURE POET – WILLIAM ENGLISH WORDSWOTH Poetry is a form of expression. Poetry inspires children’s imaginations to run wild. William Wordsworth was one of the founders of English Romanticism and one its most central figures and important intellects. To enable the students to appreciate the poetry and the beauty of nature through the eyes of the Nature’s Poet, they were asked to read through the poems and works by the poet and prepare a presentation.

WILLIAM BLAKE ENGLISH Poet, painter, engraver, and visionary William Blake worked to bring about a change both in the social order and in the minds of men. Though in his lifetime his work was largely neglected or dismissed, he is now considered one of the leading lights of English poetry, and his work has only grown in popularity. The students were made to appreciate the SONGS OF INNOCENCE composed by the great poet.

श्लोक गायन सिसं ्कृ त श्लोक गायन गततविधि मंे सभी छात्रों ने बढ़चढ़कर भाग लते े ुए अपना उत्तम प्रदशन ककया। इस गततविधि के माध्यम से छात्रों का आत्मविश्िास बढ़ेगा और संसि ्कृ त भाषा के प्रतत रुधच बढ़ेगी।

INDEPENDENCE DAY The students of classes Pre School - XII , studying in Bal Bharati Public School, Indraprasth Yojna celebrated the 75th Independence Day with full joy and enthusiasm The school organized a plethora of online activities like – online poem recitation, drawing competition, dance drill, tricolour food decoration, delivering a short speech , singing, dressing up like a freedom fighter , showcasing creativity through craft work etc, for all the students The aim of the activities was to keep students connected and celebrate the occasion with the patriotic fervour.

INDEPENDENCE DAY ACTIVITIES

RAKSHABANDHAN Raksha Bandhan or 'Rakhi' is a special occasion to celebrate the bond of love between a brother and a sister, by tying a sacred thread around the wrist. A short video on the festival was shown to the students of class In classes I to V various activities were organised like Rakhi Making Activity, Envelop Making activity, etc students enjoyed their craft activity which was organized for students.

JANMASHTMI Janmashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna which is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. The birth of Lord Krishna depicts the significance of this Hindu festival. In Primary department, it was celebrated with great zeal by the students of class I to V. Children enjoyed various craft activities like Jewellery Making, Dahi Handi Paper Craft, Krishan Handmade Mukut, Krishna Jhoola Making Activity, Poster making etc .

VANMAHOTSAV “Trees exhale for us so that we can inhale them to stay alive. Can we ever forget that? Let us love trees with every breath we take until we perish.” On the occasion of Van Mahotsav Class-wise Subject- Integrated activities has been organized for students of Pre School to XII. Activities such as Role play, Make a planter, Herbarium, Miniature Ecosystem, Let's plant a tree, Phototherapy for health and wellness, Biodiversity of India Talk show etc.

VANMAHOTSAV ACTIVITIES

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY SPORTS “Sports is very essential for every human life which keep them fit and fine and physical strength. National Sports Day also stresses the need to stay fit and healthy. The main objective to celebrate this day is to spread awareness of the importance of sports and daily activities in every individual's life..” Bal Bharati Public School, I.P Yojna has celebrated National Sports Day on 29thAugust every year on the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. Various Activities have been conducted among the children of different ages like Role plays, collage of sports news, poster of famous personalities and Power Point Presentation.

GANDHI JAYANTI ASSEMBLY Mahatma Gandhi is the symbol of peace and truth. Gandhian thoughts, principles, values and ideals encourage our students to always be with the truth and have non – violent path towards their progress. Not only in India, in fact, in the whole world, Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated as International Day of Non-violence as Gandhi Ji was the preacher of non-violence, peace and truthfulness. This auspicious day was celebrated in a special assembly.

DUSSEHRA ASSEMBLY It’s that time of the year where excitement is at its peak. Festivals are lined up one after the other and preparations are already in full swing. The month of October usually begins with the celebration of Navratri and is followed by Dussehra celebration. Dussehra is one of the most important festivals in Hindu tradition. It is an auspicious occasion and it signifies the victory of good over evil. Students celebrated this festival through virtual assembly and enjoyed beautiful craft activities like puppets ,effigies, masks of Ravana and other Ramayana characters and Durga painting etc.

RHAPSODY 2021 Participating in events and activities is just a small but substantial step in the journey towards excellence. Despite all adversities and confusion, it is heartening to see that all the educators are holding the fort and bringing out the best in their students. To scale newer heights of excellence, Bal Bharati Public School, Indraprasth Yojna organized an Inter-School Event, RHAPSODY-2021.A total of 15 events were organized. 21 students participated and made the event successful.
