CAMPUS RESOURCESThe University of Hawaii-West O’ahu is proud to offer an array of resources forits Distance Learning students. To help Distance Learning students obtain theresources they need to succeed, the No’eau Center has compiled thisresource to highlight services available to Distance Leaners. Whether you’reenrolled part-time or full-time, taking one online course and enrolled in one ofUH-West O’ahu’s online programs, you’re welcome to use any of theUniversity’s Distance Learning/Education services. It is our hope that thisguide provides you with resources you need to get connected and utilizesupport services to succeed within your courses.On behalf of the entire University of Hawaii‘i-West O’ahu campus, we welcomeyou to our campus and look forward to assisting you. Mahalo! TESTING If you need to take a quiz, test, exam or assessment at a testing site for one of your UH courses. You can utilize any UH affiliated testing center. Just be sure to contact your respective testing center for hours of operation and appointment.


 4NO’EAU CENTERTutoringThe No’eau Center offers freedistance tutoring in all subjectareas. Tutoring is 50 minutes longand is offered Monday-Friday 8:30AM - 4:30 PM. To schedule anappointment, please call 689-2750or email [email protected] do not spell check, grammar check, or proof-read essays;instead, they provide resources for students to apply spell check,grammar check, and revise the student’s own work. Tutors may referstudents to the student’s professor for questions related to specificcourse-content our assignments. Visit our No’eau Center Website for more information! Tutors assist in the following ways: • Increase awareness of procrastination and identify ways • Brainstorm ideas to get back on track • Understanding concepts • Practicing problems • Assist with exam preparation • Develop strategies for breaking down projects into manageable and achievable tasks
