Laboratory and practical classes are an important opportunity for students to ac- tively test experimentally the concepts and methods introduced in lectures and tutorials. Lab work help students learn scientific concepts and to enhance stu- dents' interest, motivation, practical skills and problem solving abilities. Students of grade 3 conducted an experiment to find out which type of soil holds more water – sandy or loamy soil. They analysed that water absorbtion capacity of loamy soil is more than that of sandy soil.

Division in daily life As children handle money, share items between friends and cut food into portions they are be- ginning to build up their division and multiplication skills as part of their everyday life. Being in- troduced to these ideas at an early age will mean that as well as gaining confidence in the subject, they will be able to uti- liZe these skills in the wider world. So different activities were conducted for students how to apply division in daily life. They learnt to solve the problems and to find the errors in the problems related to real life situation.

See-Think-Wonder  See-Think-Wonder is a great activity to help stu- dents to analyze a picture and ask ques- tions. It stimulate students’ curiosity, encour- age them to think carefully, make predictions, care- ful observations, and thoughtful interpretations. This time, a picture of the ‘Best Student’ trophy was shown on the screen and students were asked to see it, think about it, what things come to their mind and to express about it. Students shared their views in different ways. Most of the students said that they want to get that trophy and for that they have to develop some good habits, they have to do well in academics, sports and also to behave properly to everyone.

Story Writing Writing skill filters knowledge and brain to the point of val- ue and allow you to com- municate your message with clarity as well increasing the knowledge of grammar,spellings and pun ctuation.The students wrote about their family in a sto- ry form.They learnt to form a story on themselves and their family using simple sentenc- es to express their thoughts and their ways of living through the story writing and enhanced it by using their own imagination and creativity in writing.

Tie and dye work can be done by taking a white or light-colored article of clothing, folding or crumpling it up, and putting different colored dyes on sections of the clothing. After letting the piece dry, unfold it to reveal a crazy, colorful pattern. It’s a famous handicraft work of Jaipur. It’s an interesting fact, to do the tie and dye work with available materials in the class by the students to get a real life experience.

Understanding poems makes a child sensitive and writing them makes him creative. Writing a rhythmic poem or a melodious song is the best way to express oneself. A poem is something that comes from the heart. Poems usually bring out the deepest thoughts and expressions. All students composed their respective poems describing their favourite character.
