Dance is the hidden language of the Soul” In today’s competitive world it is very necessary to develop all the aspects of personality to stand with the competition. The participants gave an ener- getic and awesome performance which made the competi- tion tough. The dancers rocked the stage.
The See-Think-Wonder thinking routine stresses the importance of inquiry-based thinking through close observations following a three-step process. It can be done at the beginning of a topic. students are provid- ed with the picture representing the layers of soil. Then they have to reflect on the questions: What do you see? What do u think about it? What does it make you wonder? Students jot down their thinking and ideas and share their responses with the rest of the class. ““The Jamboree 2- A Grand carnival” Carnival is important in developing children's confidence as learners. Taking risks and trying out new ways of doing things is central to the carnival experience. It has been demonstrated that creative and cultural education can help raise educational standards. Dunes International school organized a carnival “Jamboree 2- A Grand carnival“ in the school campus on 14th November 2019. The program was filled with game stall, exotic food stalls to tempt your palate, henna designing , face painting to add a dash to the colours, bouncing castle, classic performance , raffle draws and so on. The program was not only filled with fun but helped students polishing their ideas, innovation and venturing skills.
Telling Time Knowing how to tell is a very important skill to be used in daily life. Learning how to tell time. Can also help students with their motor and cognitive skills as well as mathematical skills. The students were given different activities to learn how to tell me. Students demonstrated time and defined the characteris- tics of an analog clock. Students were also given ‘I have, who has cards’ as an assessment. They acquired much knowledge about time and clock through these activities and took delight in doing the activities.
DIALOGUE There are various ways to express our views, opinion, suggestions etc. Di- alogue is an important tool to develop our speaking skills. In litera- ture, dialogue is a conversational pas- sage, or a spoken or written exchange of conversation in a group, or between two persons directed towards a particu- lar subject. To improve students’ speak- ing skills, they were asked to perform in the class. Different topics were given to each group. Time was given to discuss and plan their dialogues. Most of the stu- dents took active part. They spoke nice- ly. Some students faced difficulties in constructing the sentences and deliver- ing the dialogues, but they tried their best and enjoyed this activity.
Water color is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution. Watercolor refers to both the medium and the resulting artwork. The Students of grade 3 creat- ed magical expressions with paint and aesthetic ex- ploration using water color also they learnt how to use water color medium and brush balance.
