It com- memorates the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who, due to his love for chil- dren was fondly known as Chacha Nehru. The day emphasizes on the importance of giving love, attention and affection to children. This day signifies to increase aware- ness of the right, care and education of children.
