‘Going out and experiencing real things makes learning enjoyable’. Field visit for students reinforces what a teacher has been explaining in class about various concepts and helps students understand the topic better. It gives students educational experiences away from their regular school environment . The purpose of field trips are important to bridge the gap between classroom edu- cation and hands on experience. Field trips particularly for school students can answer the question of how learning can be applied in life. Dunes International School has organised a field visit to the students of grade 3 to 5 on 9th January 2020. Students visited a farm at Shahama . The main objective of conducting a field trip for students is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. The stu- dents achieved a higher level of critical thinking when they evaluated their own learning compared with what they are exposed to, and they were able to modify their knowledge based on their personal experiences.

Foster values in children \"There are little eyes upon you and they're watching night and day. There are little ears that quickly take in every word you say. There are little hands all eager to do everything you do. And a little child who's dreaming of the day he'll be like you.\" What are values and why do we need them? They are cherished beliefs and standards for right and wrong. They provide direction and meaning to life. Values inspire constructive be- haviour. How can you instill values in your child?  Read and discuss stories that support your beliefs.  Monitor your child's media exposure that can undermine pa- rental influence and the development of moral standards for behaviour.  Share your approval when praiseworthy behaviour is por- trayed in the media and/or in real life, and discuss your dis- pleasure when corrupt behaviour is displayed.  Be polite and considerate toward others.  Do what you say you will do.  Share your time, talents and possessions.  Set goals and complete difficult tasks.  Display warmth, support, encouragement, and consistency toward your child.
