Japanese VS European Feudalism• Similarities: Japanese and European feudal societies were both built on a system of hereditary classes. Nobles were on top, followed by warriors and then farmers or serfs (there was very little social mobility). Although, warriors were often the most important class because of the constant warfare. Both knights (Europe) and samurai (Japan) served their local lords with different code of of ethics. Knights were suppose to hew to the concept of chivalry and the samurai were bound to the precepts of bushido (the way of the warrior). Also, both samurai and knights wore a form of armor. Not only did the lords have their own warriors but they had some sort of castle. The lords in Europe had stone castle while the Japanese had castles made of wood.• Differences: Japanese and European feudalism were both based on 2 different ideas. Japanese feudalism was based on the ideas of the Chinese philosopher Kong Qiu or Confucius. It stressed morality and respect for elders/superiors. The European feudalism was based on the Roman imperial laws, supplemented by with Germanic traditions, and supported by the authority of the Catholic Church. The way the relationship between the lords and their vassals worked was by the vassals giving loyalty to the lords and they give payment and protection in return. Also the land-owner ship was difference between both regions.European knights gained land from their lords as payment for their military service; thus they had control of the serfs who worked that land. In contrast, samurai did not own and land. Instead, the daimyo used a portion of their income from taxing the peasants to pay the samurai a salary, usually paid in rice. Lastly, the gender interactions were different in each region. Samurai woman, for example, were expected to be strong like men and face death, but the European woman were fragile flowers that had to be protected by knights.

The CrusadesMuslim Perspective of The Crusades The Muslims were not expecting attacks fromthe Crusades but when they realized what wasgoing on they did not stress over it. They merelysaw it as any normal battle. My Perspective on The CrusadesAs the Muslims see them as another war ornuisance, I see them as a group who gave us a lotof inventions we still use today such as mirrors, pain killers, and algebra.

The bacterium probably caused several different forms of plague. The Black Death is said to have started in Central Asia and traveled along the silk road reaching the Crimean peninsula by 1343. Sports &WeaponryThe Tang/song dynasties have had new advancements in technology lately including thenew Whip arrows, different versions of bomb, whirlwind catapult, thunderbolt ball, andflamethrowers which all seem to be very deadly. The Byzantine have came out booming the defense of their country is almost unstoppablethe weapons they have implemented into their army have worked great against theiropponents offenses the some of the cavalries weapons are broadsword, short bow, longlance, dagger, and a small shield. The Mongols offense is at its highest level of attack and raiding right now and they'rebecoming quite successful. One of the weapons they like using on horseback is therecurved composite bow that was highly accurate and shoots twice as far as a regularEuropean bow. The war horses also are effective because they can travel very far in oneday and also they could get food from them and they could also survive on just grass. Some of the weapons used was the Mongolian saber, the trebuchet and the triple siegecrossbow. Also up in Europe in the middle age time the weapons are really starting to advance rightnow making new more innovative weapons. Some of the weapons are Long swords,Anelacs, maces, war hammers, spears, lances, crossbows, javelins, guns, trebuchets, bombards, and battering rams. This means a increasing level of warfare in Europe andalso this causes more deaths in the countries.

Local NewsRecently, local gold values have recently droppedduring the travels of Mansa Musa, a king thriving ingold, due to him and his generous servants handing outgold in large quantities to the public.
