Message from the Head Dear Parents, What a roller coaster ride we had this year! The outbreak of COVID 19….. Lockdown in the country….. And work from home.  We never imagined that we would be handling our work from our homes. But, the way we adopted to change is really incredible. Our teachers, parents, and students have proved that they have the amazing intelligence to meet the eye. They have shown remarkable resilience in the face of this global, public health emergency and have prevailed. As our front liners, our teachers worked efficiently to keep the momentum and continue the process of teaching and learning. Their readiness to conduct virtual meetings and to create online learning environments;  incorporating new approaches has not been easy, but everyone has persevered because of the outcomes matter – giving the young people in our care the very best education they deserve. We are greatly appreciative of the support and understanding our parent body and community have given us during these very difficult times and compasses BSU a success. Your tremendous feedback uplifts our efforts and motivation. Therefore one thing has been abundantly clear, it is of paramount importance that we all continue to work together for the greater good of our children.

Artistic Expression Art exhibition was held at the open house in January 2020 where the work of our little artists was showcased. The guests and parents were overwhelmed to see all the amazing master pieces created by the students. We appreciate the enthusiasm of our ex students who volunteered and contributed in making the event a success.

Highlights of Pet Show February Teachers Training Azain Bhashwani of Grade II won bronze medal in 16th International IKLC 2019 Fatima Mysha Haniya Anaya Solidarity with Kashmir Fatima Ali Class 2-A, secured Parental awareness on Child Gold Medal and three more Protection Policy  Green Angels Myesha Haider Class 1-A, Haniya Imran Class 1- B, Anaya Maqsood Class KG-B won the Green Ambassador's Insignia. The Move into Virtual Classrooms As education has been hit particularly hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. BSS was the first organisation that took steps to ensure a disruptive free education for all of its students and provided them with a platform Beaconhouse Schooling Uninterrupted, a distant learning program where students received quality education input from the system. It also gave the opportunity to teachers to grow professionally and learn how to tackle new challenges everyday to help impact the students for a better tomorrow. 

Virtual PTM Virtual parent teacher meetings were held with the parents of Pre Nursery to Grade 2. Parents praised the efforts of the school and gave positive feedback on online learning held through Beaconhouse Schooling Uninterrupted. They further witnessed the efforts of the teachers that they put in for each individual child and shared their appreciation note for all the teachers who made learning possible in this crucial time.

Earth Day Celebrations \"It's a world of hopes and dreams because we only have one planet\" Earth Day celebrations were held with full boom from poster making competitions, poems on earth day, reduce, reuse and recycling projects to making environmental superheroes. Despite the uncertain situation due to Covid 19 our students showed true spirit of love and care for the mother earth. Their enthusiasm and hope for the better world and future was exceptional.

Virtual Clubs Clubs are a great way for students to participate in activities they enjoy and learn new skills. With the successful completion of Beaconhouse Schooling Uninterrupted Phase 1, virtual clubs were introduced in the phase 2 of BSU. Children showed active participation in the different clubs offered to them from arts and crafts, tech savvy, little chefs and kids fitness club. These clubs were held every Friday for students from Kindergarten to Grade II to have some more fun learning virtually.

Inter School and Inter Branch Competitions Good healthy competition inspires kids to do their best. When students compete they become more inquisitive and it teaches them to step out of their comfort zone. Different virtual inter school, inter branch and inter class competitions were held. Students from all levels  actively participated in these competitions. We proudly announced that Shabbir Hussain of Grade II won second position and Muskaan Nadeem won third position in Virtual Inter Branch Elocution Contest held by Beaconhouse Primary 3. We further congratulate Rayyan Maklai and Inaya Khan Suri for their participation in Inter School Reading Contest held by LMA WapdaTown.

The Colorful World of Toddlers As we continue to live in this time of pandemic, we ensured to provide best possible learning experience to our toddlers. We were astounded to see equal participation of these tiny tots in their online sessions and their enthusiasm in hands on fun learning experiences at home.

Wall of Creativity Every child is an artist. Glimpses of the marvellous work done by the students from creating patterns, mosaic, using different objects to create material monsters and 3D projects.

Peep into The Students Week Students week was celebrated to cherish Beat the heat with lemonade each and every moment of their journey in party a fun and memorable way and to welcome the future with good hopes as they move Tower building challenge towards new classes. Students participated enthusiastically in melody morning, enjoyed the virtual tours to zoo, Disney land and other places. The virtual graduation ceremony was also held for Kindergartners and what a moment it was to see them tossing their hats in the air and praising their success.
