FAQs Opening HoursHow many items can I borrow? Kirkley Hall LSC Monday: 8.30 am - 6.50 pm You can borrow 8 items and 2 fiction Books: Tuesday: 8.30 am - 6.50 pm no more than 4 items can be short loan Wednesday: 8.30 am - 6.50 pm items. Some books are reference only and Thursday: 8.30 am - 6.50 pm therefore useable for research in the LSC but Friday: 8.30 am - 4.20 pm are not able to be borrowed. 3How long can I borrow items for?  Books (4 weeks, 1 week)  Laptops, DVDs and back issues of journals (1 week)  Video Cameras digital cameras (24 hours)  Headphone and Nintendo DS Lite (1 hour)What happens if I don’t return the items I have borrowed? Fines will be charged for each overdue item, you will be unable to borrow anything else, make reservations, or use a computer while overdue loans are outstanding. 26

Code of Conduct FAQs S*** Can I borrow a laptop to take home? 4 The LSC has a number of laptops which can be borrowed for a week at a time. Can I use a computer in the LSC? There are numerous PC’s for you to use in the LSC multimedia suite, as well as wireless enabled laptops. you are welcome to use your own personal laptop to connect to the “college WiFi” How can I access the college e-resources? The LSC staff offer support on using the e-resources.
