About 40,000 new cases were reported in the second quarter of 2018 alone. The vast majority of new cases were transmitted through sex, marking a changefrom the past.Traditionally, HIV spread rapidly through some parts of China as aresult of infected blood transfusions.But the number of people contracting HIV inthis way had been reduced to almost zero, Chinese health officials said at aconference in Yunnan province.Year-on-year, however, the number of those livingwith HIV and Aids in China has risen by 100,000 people. My reaction/reflection: In my opinion, This news has lots of interesting words that normal people usually does not use in daily life. Because of some vocabularies that I don’t know make me a little bit confused about the details of the news. Page 2 of 5
