DPS Happenings Sherriff's Department conducting over-weight vehicle training at the DPS Garage Lori and Leon attended the Michigan Public Service Institute training in Mt. Pleasant from September 22nd – 27th. GOOD NEWS: Leon won an APWA drawing for half-off tuition. We have also applied for a RAP Grant to cover half of the tuition for both. These two discounts will save the City $1,200. Thanks to our DPS team for responding to a call late in the day from the Sherriff’s Department about 1100 placemats that fell from a truck and were spread all over the Hamlin/Livernois roundabout
