Mild 2 Wild Rod & CustomEdition 1 Newsletter September 2015 Club events This is the first edition of the new Mild 2 Wild newsletter and is an this Month attempt to make the original minutes more colourful and interesting.22nd September Also if it works it will become another method of communicating information to our members.Committee meeting7.00pm Mild 2 Wild Committee talk27th September This is a new initiative that hopefully will become a regular fea- ture of the new newsletter and is a short article about some ofBreakfast at Bush-lands on the Murray the committee’s activities for the month.at Toc The August meeting of the Mild 2 Wild Committee was one of9.30am the most productive meetings we have had to date; this was mostly due to the new format for the meetings that was intro-4th October duced near the end of the last committee term and otherEuroa Show & Shine changes introduced by the new committee.6th October Some of the topics covered were the upcoming guest speaker, the rules regarding new members, insurance for the club rooms,Cruise night at Toc creating a template for helping new office bearers and the train.7.00pm at the fore- Also the ongoing activities such as the swap meet, the new clubshore house and the Rod Run were discussed, these topics always14th October seem to get a mention which is not surprising.General meeting7.30pm

We have started with the club president but from now on it will go in alphabetical order so please get the form back to me.

Guest Speaker General Business At this months meeting we had the  General business was short and sweet this mouth as we had a guest speaker at thepleasure of welcoming Stuart McNabb as meeting. Paul gave a report on the progress of the new club rooms; he informed the club that the roof in on along with all the insulation also the majority of the walls our guest speaker are up. The next step is preparing the site for the concrete.  The President David Baldwin presented the last three 10th anniversary plaques to Daryl, Peter Haley and Barry as they were not present at the anniversary dinner.  Chris Hooper gave a report on the Wangaratta Rod & Custom Club garage crawl and it was a great day as usual. Will give a more detailed account of the day later.  Daryl gave a rego report he informed us that you don’t have to hand your plates back in if your rego is not renewed and they are yours to keep and will not be re is- sued to anybody else. Daryl also read out an article about the changes to the NSW H plate rules; it ap- pears that the NSW system will be run similar to the way the VIC system with 60 days of use per year with a log book. Guest Speaker Stuart McNabb from Metal Man in Shepparton was our Guest Speaker, Stuart gave us a rundown on his history and how he came to be involved in the business of making and selling metal working tools for the car enthusiast , he showed us some of the range of tools he stocks and what they are used for. He then gave some demonstra- tions on what some of the tool can do, his talk was very informative and entertaining and we thank him for his time and effort. Stuart also donated a video of metal working skills to the club and thank him for that also. Raffle The Raffle was drawn by Stuart McNabb, first prize was an Esky and was won by Greg Smith Meeting closed at 8.19pm Next Meeting 17th October at the Mild 2 Wild Club Rooms Next Committee Meeting 22nd September at Mild 2 Wild Club Rooms
