Why we should visit the city? Kukes is a city different from the others. He really doesn't have the sea to go to the beach but there are other things that are worth it! The citizens of Kukes are very friendly, loving, hospitable and sincere with tourists. Kukesians love foreigners: They welcome you with open arms and an open heart, then you realize that it is a great travel destination. \"Where are you from\" is the most popular question they ask you in Albanian. When you tell them you are a stranger, their faces light up with happiness, joy and a little confusion. There are special cultural histories and monuments that have been preserved over time and have been inherited from generation to generation. The food is served delicious and traditional by the locals. It is a place that is characterized by nature, numerous greenery and natural resources such as mountains, lakes and special tourist spots. A real travel destination: There are many misconceptions about Albania and the city of Kukes. Most are from the movie 'Taken' and other Hollywood movies, but in reality Kukes, the city is very different. There are many bad people around the world, but tourists feel much safer than in many European cities. Cheap Prices: Must be one of three places when it comes to affordability. A liter of wine costs only a few euros. If you have a budget, then this is the perfect place to go. You will live like kings. A hotel bed costs 5-10 euros. It's madness.
